Bookies have listed Neil Warnock as the odds on favourite to become the next permanent Cardiff City manager following the sacking of Paul Trollope.

Neil Warnock is the favourite for the jobs but Ryan Giggs is among the contenders
Neil Warnock is the odds on favourite to replace Paul Trollope as manager of Cardiff City.
Trollope was axed after winning only two of his 12 matches in charge of the Bluebirds since taking over in the summer.
And Warnock is the leading contender with Sky Bet to be his replacement although several former players including Cardiff City icon Craig Bellamy and Ryan Giggs are also being linked with the job.
Here we look at the early contenders for the role...
Neil Warnock (1/10)
Former Sheffield United manager Warnock is the overwhelming favourite to replace Trollope and would bring a wealth of experience to the Cardiff City Stadium.
The 67-year-old guided the Blades to the promised land of the Premier League in 2006 and also led Queens Park Rangers to promotion five years later.
In his most recent job, Warnock kept Rotherham in the Championship after losing just four of his 16 matches in charge.
And the early signs are that Warnock will be the new Cardiff City boss - with Sky Bet offering odds of 1/10 for him to replace Trollope.
Ryan Giggs (6/1)
The man who took over from David Moyes before assisting Louis van Gaal is hoping to secure his first full time managerial role after leaving Manchester United for the first time in 29 years.
Giggs, who earned 64 caps for Wales, took charge of four games, winning two of them, after Moyes was sacked by United in 2014.
And Giggs is available for work after choosing to move on from Old Trafford when Jose Mourinho was made manager of the Red Devils in the summer.
He was interviewed for the Swansea City job before the Welsh club decided to opt for Bob Bradley.
Craig Bellamy (10/1)
A man who needs no introduction to the Cardiff City faithful having featured more than 50 times for the club.
The Cardiff-born striker is a real favourite with fans although his lack of managerial experience could make it a risky appointment.
But his popularity with supporters could provide the club with a huge lift as Cardiff look to turn their miserable start to the season around.
However, there are suggestions the club's hierarchy do not see him as a viable option.
James Rowberry (14/1)
James Rowberry is no stranger to being linked with the Cardiff City hotseat . The former academy chief was touted as a potential replacement following the departure of Russell Slade earlier this year.
And the youngster is the fourth favourite with bookies to take over this time around - although, as with Bellamy, his lack of experience is expected to go against him.
Dave Jones (20/1)
Like Bellamy, Dave Jones is another man who needs no introduction after six years in charge of the club.
The Liverpool-born boss first took charge of the Bluebirds in 2005 and guided Cardiff to the FA Cup final at Wembley three years later.
But he has been out of work since leaving Sheffield Wednesday in 2013 and is likely to live up to his long odds of 20/1.

That picture of Warnock and Giggs, in my opinion, will be our dream team. Please let it happen. John Hartson, Russell Slade, Kenny Jacket all on the list at 33-1. Are they real
