I have had 3 bets.....City on Handicap +18pts......Chris Martin top scorer e/w at 50/1 and a 4 timer City to finish above Bristol, Boro above Sunderland, Villa above Brum and Norwich above Ipswich pays just under 4/1

The real big bet I am looking at which I believe is real value is City to finish top half and if I can get Evens before Saturday will go big

Thanks mate...I was hoping for slightly better odds but doesn't look likely...but evens is still a good bet and a bit of value...I will be very surprised if we don't finish top half...quietly confident this bet will come in

Top 6 might be a bit optimistic....but I really hope your right

I'm not sure about Zohore...but if you can get 35/1 it certainly won't be the worst bet in the world

This is why I think Cardiff to make the play-offs is a great bet:


Neil Warnock has been in charge for 35 games, average number of points won per game is 1.54.

1.54 X 46 games is 71 points by the end of season (I expect us to improve on that with the signings made)

The average number of points required to make the play-offs for the last 10 years is 73.6.


You can get 5.5-1 with Betfred for Cardiff to make the play-offs - I reckon there's at least a 50-60% chance we will make it.

Done two accumulators. Last year I had Chelsea to win the league with Sheffield Wednesday, Scunthorpe and Plymouth to go up - so got close.

On the second one, if they all place then I'm looking at profit of ten times my stake.

Won't disclose my stakes but like to go big for the season bets.

Going to look at the opening day fixtures at work, can be impossible to predict some years - very little to go off.

Can't remember exactly but as we had just re-signed Bellamy I believe we were about 12/1 to win league and probably about 5/2 to be promoted before the season started...but only about Evens at the beginning of January to be Champions.

It was a bit of a walk in the park after having some great Xmas/new year results and I don't think anyone got to within 4 or 5 points of us for the rest of the season

Evens is a great price for us finishing top half i did it last year and luckily it came off last game of the season after a very poor start!

Since 2001-2002 season when we reached The Championship we have only failed to be top half 3 times finishing 13th twice and 16th once!

It's a great bet...I would be very, very disappointed if we don't finish top half....but Then again we are talking about the rollacoster that is Cardiff City...so who knows????
