Could Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United make moves for the Cardiff City striker this week?



Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United are among the most likely destinations for Cardiff City striker Kenneth Zohore, according to one bookmaker.

Zohore has scored more league goals (12) than all but four Championship players in 2017 and has recently attracted interest from Hull City, Brighton & Hove Albion and Everton, according to reports.

As such, Bet Victor have installed the trio as favourites for the Denmark international's signature - Everton (1/1), Brighton (3/1), Hull City (6/1) - but Wolves (also 6/1) and Newcastle (8/1) could be ones to watch ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline.

Reports suggest the pair are still looking to add to their front lines ahead, although Cardiff's £30 million asking price could prove a deterrent, with Wolves conscious of breaching the Football League's financial fair play rules and Newcastle needing to sell to buy.

The Bluebirds have already turned down a £10 million offer from Hull, after which manager Neil Warnock revealed he would only sell Zohore for three times that amount.

However, that is not to say that Wolves, Newcastle or anyone else won't try to test their resolve this week.

He sees where we are now, reduce the debt to him by 15/20 mil, or keep in hope of greater return on promotion, poker game now, also probably a quarter of any transfer fee at least would go on a replacement, if you can replace!

If Zohore goes we might get 20m to spend on what?

If he stays he will start scoring again and we might put another 4-5 thousand on season tickets imo it's a no brainier!
