Great goal it was too.

Portugal offered very little in the second half, only threats I can think of is a Pepe header that the goalkeeper saved easily and a Fernandes shot from distance.

Ronaldo doing a lot of complaining but nothing else.

As I type this.. Guerriero scores. 1-0 Portugal.

Portugal beat Hungary 3-0.

Cristiano Ronaldo is now the all-time top scorer in European Championship history with eleven goals. Michel Platini had nine goals and Alan Shearer seven goals.

Last game of today is France v Germany in Munich, it gets underway at 8pm.

I would go as far as to say that based on their second half performance, the Hungarians would not have been flattered by a 1-0 scoreline had their 'goal' been allowed to stand.

Until their very fortunate opener, Portugal seemed devoid of ideas in the second half and can count themselves extremely lucky to have come away with a win, let alone one by a three goal margin

A bit surprised VAR didn't get involved.

Sorry for noticing so late, what everyone else was obviously aware of, but.....

How the hell are France, Germany and Portugal in the same group? The epitamy of a Group of Death.

Absolutely must win, can't afford to go into the Italy game needing something.

A win will almost certainly be enough to get us through to the last 16.

If we attack from the start and get an early goal, I think we can win.

It's effectively a home game for Turkey, but I think our players will thrive off that atmosphere.

Needs to keep our best players on the pitch as well.

Still can't believe he took James off on Saturday.

Before the game between Wales and Turkey, there is another game at 2pm.

Finland play Russia in St Petersburg.

Finland won their first game against Denmark and Russia lost against Belgium.

Finland will effectively be the first nation to qualify for the last 16 with a win.
