Does seem that VAR are getting much less involved than they do in the Premier League. It's worked well so far.

Also noticed that the referees have got no time for players who are going down too easy anywhere on the pitch, which has been refreshing.

Brilliant atmosphere being made by the 65,000 fans in the stadium. A long time since we've heard noise like this.

I get the feeling the Portugal players will enjoy the atmosphere.. Cristiano Ronaldo being booed by them all anytime he goes near the ball.
