Anyone in the know of different type of horse bets? With accumalators do all horses have to come in or is there one where for example you only need 3 from 6 to win?? Any help appreciated!

In an accumulator all selections have to win (or place if you have done and each way acca) for you to get a return. There are a number of ways for you to do a "full cover" bet on your selections so that you get a return if at least 2 of your them win. Many more bets involved than in a simple acca.though. Google " Glossary of bets offered by UK bookmakers" on Wikipedia for an explanation of all the options.

single, doubles and trebles are quite obvious.

Lucky 15 (4 horses or selections) win or ew. - if one or more selections fail, but you have a winner or placed there will still be a return. lucky 15 = 15 x (stake) think minimum online is 15 x 10p and betting shops will do a total 50p min bet.

Lucky 31 5 selections.

Acca. all horses must win or place (depending if selected EW)

placepot for meeting (select a placed horse for usually the first 6 races of any meeting)
