Heard earlier - Dalman leaked - Cardiff are subject to a transfer embargo for the next two windows.

Club trying to fight the EFL legally over the decision. Peter Ridsdale - somehow a big noise on the EFL board - is thought to have supported the decision to ban the Bluebirds.

Cardiff and Sam gave Ridsdale a job in April 2004 when the bloke was on his uppers after being sacked as Leeds chairman a couple of years previously.

Tan jettisoned him when he officially took control of Cardiff in summer 2010.

Ridsdale's last match as a Cardiff board member was the 3-2 Championship play-off final defeat to Blackpool at Wembley in May 2010.

The Riddler, now Football Director at Preston, is power-tripping again, a decade after being banned from directors of a company by Companies House for questionable tax submission.

The Riddler is back and firing, though.

However, what you have to say is Peter Ridsdale has more soccer nouse than Tan, Dalman and Ken Choo put together and I am def not a Riddler fan, but he knows a lot of peoples in football and always seems to come back.

What was that deal he did on season tickets ? I can’t remember the detail but wasn’t it a price freeze for 3 years or something like that . We all renewed in January time !

The club said that all season ticket money would be used for players and it wasn't.

Risdale was taking a wage of 500k a year out of us and dave Jones on 800k a year whilst the tax bills wasn't being paid that was the problem.

Are you saying the embargo is back on or we will be subject to the current restrictions for the next two windows?

Yeah that was it . I remember thinking it was a great deal years after though as season tickets didn’t go up in price for years .

Don't you think a manager should be paid then?

our loans will go back and we have to rely on what we have until summer of 2024...the EFL can lift this and Ridsdale should be nowhere near any decision that affects us.
We may well go down and without signings it will be very difficult to recover .

We can try for new loans and free agents but I think we are in a huge disadvantage to other clubs

Jules, I'm not sure there's anything 'new' in this continued embargo news?

I always read it as being partially lifted because the first payment had been made but there would be an ongoing issue because subsequent payments were already late...?

The wages of any member of staff (playing or otherwise) are a matter for those running the club and, as always, subject to contractual agreement...

At that time he was the highest paid manager in the championship by a country mile , the point is that at the time , no bills were being paid .

Your right, I thought it was common knowledge we can only sign players on loan and frees and still had a efl embargo coz of not paying it within 30 days .

I can only speak as a lover of my club no finance wizard otherwise I would be a millionaire and not on strike as a NHS worker trying to get a wage I bloody deserve.

But the only time I got so angry was with Peter Ridsdale he totally ripped us off and openly did too I was warned by good friends who were Leeds supporters of this selfish rich man who loved himself more than football.

Sam I believe loved this club and wanted the best for this club but sadly did'nt have the money to support it and I also believe he was foolish in trusting Ridsdale and why not he is one of the worst & Clever crooks ever to be in footbball why I said years ago the man Ridsdale should be banned from football from what he did to Leeds and us.

He made out Sam was trying to destroy our club blah blah and yet again maybe I am being foolish but I didnt believe it we sadly got involved in a selling plan Ridsdale made a fortune out of us and destroyed any thing Sam has and to a bloody loony like Tann.]

I personally think Ridsdale should not be near a football team he is the biggest crook ever to be in the game a vile creteature to rob working class people
