I’ve used them a couple of times out of Cardiff and flying again with them in November.
Had no problems and would highly recommend them.
Beside Qatar being excellent, a 20 minute drive to Cardiff for me instead of a couple of hours up the M4 plus parking and probably a hotel the night before if it’s a morning flight.
Happy days, enjoy!

Flew business class to Bali using this from Cardiff to Qatar. Absolutely amazing experience far better than BA. Everything they do is for the customer.
The lounge at Cardiff Airport however is a pile of shite.

There can be long stop overs in Doha whilst waiting for your connecting flight both ways. Worth bearing in mind. The journey up the M4 might not be too bad after all if you can get a direct flight to your final destination.

He's right though mate, when I flew to Sydney from London we had a 30 minute transit stop in Bangkok, looking on the quatar website you're looking at a 10-11 stop over in most cases so the trip up the M4 is not so bad when you look at it from that angle.
Depends where in Wales your traveling from and what your looking for though of course

Not everybody who flies on Qatar from Cardiff goes to Australia. Some do fly to the Far East. What i’m saying is that the initial convenience of flying from Cardiff can be counteracted by the delay in the connecting flight. You can fly direct to the Far East using alternative airlines from BA if you want or fly to Amsterdam from Cardiff and connect there and fly on KLM to your final destination if not going to Australia and similar.

Yes very true but add cost for hotel travel ect simple things just stop over one night in dohah believe it's cheap as chips .... klm have a wait at schipol done it worn shirt! But like you say individual thing certainly for me Cardiff is far better than travel to Manchester or London? Which are my normal airports for my travel.

Out curiosity I looked at 2 flights one from Cardiff one from Heathrow to goa Cardiff 30hr with overnight in dohah! BA 23.5hrs with overnight stopover that's not 3 times longer?? So presume there is an airline that does it non stop or less of a stopover?

Lots of the flights are 48 hours with various stops .Even 30 hours is near treble as u can get flights from London with other airways and they r 9 hours odd so 3 times as long not really far out ,Maybe check you info

No I just looked randomly at flights had no intention of looking through the Heathrow flight book to check all flights to Goa? I was being curious to your post thats all! if you'd given an example of Mickey mouse airways takes 10hrs to goa from Heathrow I would see it was 3 time longer than cdf that's all. Anyway now I know it is

On the subject of stop overs, had the maddest one ever with Qatar flying back from India, it wasn’t to Cardiff as they didn’t do it at the time. They put “rapid transfer” on our luggage leaving Mumbai, got to Doha where we were escorted off and literally straight back on to a full plane waiting for us, not even time for a piss.....never had that before....
