What i wil say is we endured the usual sheepshagg##g b@stards they even screamed "welsh c##nts" at us but we get a tannoy announcement aimed at us??

At half time everyone was baffled and i hope the club take the issue up as in the 2nd half reading fans chanted "your just a bunch of racists"

I enjoy the banter and honestly the sheep shaggers goes over my head but i wont accept cardiff fans being labelled racist and homophobic because of some trigger happy steward.

I remember a few games in the 90s away up north police coming into the away ends thinking you jack b*stard was something else, I would guess this is what's happened as others have said, we will soon find out.

I'm sure Reading will make a post-game statement that either condemns or exonerates the City contingent and we can all react accordingly armed with the facts and not the usual guesswork (of some)

IMO whilst any fans found guilty of using racist or homophobic language should be reprimanded, Reading FC should be able to provide hard evidence before throwing out accusations.

We are all innocent until proven guilty and Reading shouldn't be able to put these statements out, one can only assume that they are confident that their accusations are true and that is sad on our Club but I'm still hoping they are wrong, and if so should face their own furore

well ive never heard anything quite like that before...so yes that's what I thought.. having ,like you googled it since , I think the game needs to be stopped for the announcement { for it to be step 1 } which im not sure it was..
but racial and homophobic chanting in 2 consecutive games ?...they need to sort their stewards out...

on the topic of spurs, they were also accused of racist chants a few weeks back. thorough investigation by the club and Met found nothing.. ?

I just reported a Reading fan doing aeroplane / swimming actions to a steward. Fair play about 3 mins later he was having his collar felt and being escorted out.
No racist or homophobic chanting whatsoever

Loads were doing the swim away. Reporting fans to the police or stewards is wrong. Getting pissed of with city fans reporting other fans ffs

The kid who got thrown out for the aeroplane gestures did it about three rows from the front with no one in front of him, right in front of the South Wales spotters.

I was at the game and didn’t hear anything. Nor did anyone I spoke to either. The group I was with asked 2 officers at halftime what happened and we were told they were not informed about anything before it was announced.

Think an announcement was made at their Millwall game last week as well.
