Bruce not happy with players

Opposition boss Steve Bruce was left unhappy with his side's efforts last night.


STEVE BRUCE:

“We simply didn’t play well enough,” the Baggies manager said.

“After some really good performances against Watford and then Blackburn, unfortunately, that one tonight was completely different.

“That’s the frustrating thing. We haven’t got beaten in the game, but we certainly haven’t done enough to win it and I have to be as honest as that.






West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Bruce told BBC Radio WM:

"We haven't got beaten, but we certainly haven't done enough to win it. I have to be as honest as that.

"We simply didn't play well enough, certainly at the front end of the pitch. We didn't have any real creativity. We made the wrong decisions. We're short, but we still have two and a half weeks to go. We'll see what becomes available."


“Maybe there were a few heavy legs but I’m not going to make excuses because it’s the same for both teams.”

Could have said exactly the same thing about our performance yesterday.
