Yellow cards

Does anyone know if yellow cards are carried over to the play offs? They were in the World Cup play offs. If so, there is a fine balancing act to be made tonight for those already on a yellow. Bit of a dilemma. We have to go all out for the win and not pull out of challenges but chances are Croatia will win anyway. Does Page pull certain players off if Croatia are winning comfortably? He would be slagged off if Armenia fought back. On the other I can't believe Ampadu will escape a yellow if he is on for 90 mins!!
