Breaking Vincent Tan has yet again Sacked another

Wed Dec 06, 2023 4:46 pm

Vincent Tan has yet again Sacked another manager after KV Kortrijk's poor start to the campaign has led to Glen De Boeck getting the chop.

Earlier this year the whole previous management team walked out on Tan, saying he was arrogant and that he had no idea.
The club became in disarray.

Tan has had to take a back seat at his other club Cardiff City, after season after season of sacking managers and even having 4 different managers in one season and Cardiff being near the bottom year after year.

Currently Chairman Mehmet Dalman has been running the football side of Cardiff City this season, seeing a big change in fortune on the pitch.

Kortrijk are the bottom-placed club in the Jupiler Pro League and have already sacked one manager this season, Ed Still. But De Boeck becomes the second KVK boss to leave within the first half of the season following a dismal start for Tan's side.

"KVK today terminated its collaboration with head coach Glen De Boeck," they wrote in a statement. "The club is working on a successor as quickly as possible. While waiting for a new head coach, Joseph Akpala will take over the duties of T1 and prepare the coming matches."

Cardiff's Sheyi Ojo and Isaak Davies are both on loan at the Flemish club, but will be playing under another new coach in the coming days. De Boeck had just nine games in charge.

OK lets get this right.

Vincent Tan has made a right mess of this club. He has also had the chance to get out with a good offer. He has decided to stay. So if he wants to get a return for his efforts he needs to invest and put everything right.

So don't come back on here saying we should be grateful and before you say would I have been happy going down without his investment the answer to that is a big Yes. I would rather die being what we were than living a nightmare being something that we were not.

I didnt say we should be grateful but am glad that you acknowledge that we should,

We only have to look at Reading, Derby, Wednesday and others to see how bad things could be.

I'm not acknowledging anything so stop twisting things.

If we had done a Reading , Derby or whatever other club that had to take the hit then at the time it would have not bothered me.....like many others. It would have been good tbh as it would have got rid of the glory seeking Red brigade.

Red brigade?

We have been back in blue for 9 years. We have had a prem season in blue.

Doing a reading or derby would not have been good. Might have been more like a Rangers though with the amount owed to HMRC.

This constant looking to the past is not healthy.

No point trying to talk sense to him mate. If it’s not his opinion, you’re wrong.

Annis - is this the same club that Tan agreed the sale of earlier in the start of the year? i remember reading he was suing someone for agreeing to the purchase of one of his teams before they seen the accounts and pulled out of the deal ?

The problem I have with that last sentence is that the disgraceful Rebrand is still here. Tan admitted he made a mistake and if he is genuine about it he would have corrected it completely.

Ian,

You are so right in what you’ve said.

Tan is not Sorry, just look at the Despicable badge we have now.

I personally was hurt beyond and I will never forget and it should never be forgotten what Tan or the Red Brigrade did. :bluescarf:

Just look at what a clown he’s been with the other club as well and the money that’s been wasted at Cardiff City.
