Omer Riza:

“The players that are out on loan I keep in contact with them regularly, I drop them a text or call them. If they need me they can drop me a text.”

“ Pursey's (Darren Purse) was totally involved in sending players out on loan, but now he is fully involved with me running the first team.”

“Paddy (Deboys), Gav (Chesterfield) the academy manager and Rammers (Tom Ramasut) are involved in the Account and players now going out on loan, which We all sit and discuss in meetings.”

"Credit to the club and the staff for how they manage and care about those players and what they're doing, what they're next step is. We have these conversations all the time. Healthy, honest conversations, open-door policy of saying what we feel and getting the beset end result.”

"We are in constant contact with them and they are doing well, a lot of them.”

“Currently Raheem (Conte) is injured, he's hurt his back.”

“Malachi (Fagan-Walcott) is doing well at York.”

“Joel Colwill has done excellently at Cheltenham and we are hearing some great reports on him.”

Highly rated Cardiff City player joins Non League Yeovil permanently.

Caleb Hughes has signed permanently for non-League outfit Yeovil Town.

The 21-year-old was one of the standout names being mentioned the last few years, however having never really broken into the first team from the Under 21’s, it was the right time to let him plot his own journey in football says Purse.

The midfielder, who is a former Wales youth international, has been a free agent for more than three months, but has landed at National League side Yeovil.

Caleb Hughes:

"I can't wait to get started and progress my career. I can't wait to show everyone what I can do."

Hughes was last season sent out on to loan with Cymru Premier side Haverfordwest and made six appearances while at Cardiff and was a central player for the under-18s and latterly the under-21s before his departure.

Caleb Hughes was so highly rated he was given a professional contract with Cardiff City at 17 years old.

Cardiff City have promoted Michael Reindorf to the first-team training squad permanently after his run of goals for the youth team.

New U21 Coaches Matt Blockson and Dane Facee who took over The U21’s in September and have seen the team go unbeaten and surge up the Table, have highly recommended Reindorf to interim manager Riza.

The 19-year-old signed as a free agent in the summer having left Norwich City, this weekend's opponents, for Omer Riza's side, and has impressed in front of goal, scoring 12 times in total for the under-21s.

With Isaak Davies out even longer than expected, Riza needs more Strikers.
