That’s what we didn’t have under Bulut and Riza seems to have the ability to do. Sign him up.

He changed it at Bristol and rightly got criticised as it cost us.
Only right that he gets praise for changing it today.

I didn’t get to see the game today. Riza said we went to a back three to push players up. Did anyone watching pick that up? As I haven’t seen any reference to it in comments.

Riza hasn’t put a foot wrong really, as mentioned above he changed it at Bristol and potentially is what cost us. But that could have happened if we kept the same set up too, the change of momentum might have just coincided with the change of shape.
One thing is for sure all the players want him as the manager. Having watched O’Dowda’s and Robbo’s post match interview he quite frankly has to get the job. Happy players means better results, if we throw a different manager in now that could well upset momentum we have. Riza has done an unbelievable job, from bottom of the league to the best team in form. How anybody can say they don’t want him to get the job is baffling, yes he’s not a big name and r ‘experienced’ as lots like to say. In this business results matter, he’s getting results and all the players are loving having him as a manager.

Yes , O ‘Dowda definitely got forward more and I thought played well whole game.
I thought Turnbull played well again and substitutions made a difference

Their coach taking stick for going defensive with subs to early just like riza! Fine margins on football.

To be honest I think it was more their substitutes that changed the game in our favour rather than ours.

Don’t agree with that. Change of shape made us more dangerous and two goals came from it.

Fundamentally Rubin is not a nine or a false nine, he and Willock didn't offer enough threat. Robinson is not a 9 but he is a forward, and until he came on we didn't have one on the pitch.
Daland offered some missing physicality against their monster team, they were always first to the ball into the box
Riza seems to know what he is doing, Kanga aside the recruitment team seems to know what they are doing.....happy days
