Cardiff City have promoted Michael Reindorf to the first-tea

Cardiff City have promoted Michael Reindorf to the first-team training squad permanently after his run of goals for the youth team.

New U21 Coaches Matt Blockson and Dane Facee who took over The U21’s in September and have seen the team go unbeaten and surge up the Table, have highly recommended Reindorf to interim manager Riza.

The 19-year-old signed as a free agent in the summer having left Norwich City, this weekend's opponents, for Omer Riza's side, and has impressed in front of goal, scoring 12 times in total for the under-21s.

With Isaak Davies out even longer than expected, Riza needs more Strikers.

It’s them two who should be sent to the Welsh League Clubs, but not on loan but for good.

That's excellent news, no more than he deserves. Get him on the bench Saturday. A 95th minute winner against the club that let him go

We should send Kanga back in January if we can and try and get rid of Meite.

Great news. Give him time and patience; but hopefully he'll get minutes and not sit behind Kanga in the pecking order.

I thought Riza spoke very well about him in the press conference. The gist was he's a raw talent and he's still got lots to improve on before he can feature in the squad. I think fans need to be careful with their expectations. Is he now ready for 15/20 minutes as a sub? Maybe. Still expect Kanga to start Saturday if Robibson is unfit.

I agree with you unless Robinson is injured I don't think he'll make the bench for Saturday but you never know.

I am so pleased for the boy - and maybe he will be in the squad for the Norwich game; maybe he will have a cameo appearance in which he scores the winning goal - Roy of the Rovers Stuff. Such thoughts may be in his head but he will be pleased to be in the first team squad - and he deserves to be there. It is good that Riza was able to see this.

Just hope Riza is careful with Reindorf and brings him in gradually, too much pressure on young shoulders could do him more harm than good.

Let's hope we don't judge him to harshly or expect him to deliver consistently, he is raw ,young ,keen .

Looks like Riza is softly introducing Reindorf into the squad.
And wouldn’t be surprised to see him start to get minutes in readiness to replace Kanga in the squad in January.
