DONALD TRUMP RE-ELECTED US PRESIDENT
It's not official yet but....
I'm calling this as a Trump win now at just after 4am UK time.
There is still a path to victory for Kamala Harris but that path is now extremely unlikely.
She is several points down on Biden's 2020 numbers in many states and behind in states she needs to win, looking very unlikely she'll turn around that deficit. She has even lost women voters that Biden had.
Trump on the other hand is doing very well with Latino people and young black men - looks like that vote will prove to be the key for him.
So I am now saying that Donald Trump has won and is heading back to the White House - as I initially predicted, I still believe his win will be by quite some distance.
Updated
Not long now until we find out who the next President of the US is so now seems as good a time as any to have this thread.
Who wins?
My opinion is that Trump will win. I know one poll today was going towards Harris, but I think similar happened with Clinton in 2016 when it was getting closer to the election - we know what happened then.

If it was an equal playing field with out the media backing Harris he would romp it home.

Trump is not fit to be president? Hes friends with both putin and Netanyahu and as said things that reinforces his views to help them... he as no scruples just a very nasty dangerous man.... hope Harris wins

Ned, I am watching this closely and it really is intriguing…
Here we have two candidates that in all reasoning should not be in this race but they are…
It’s going to be tight but I’m hoping the American people are waking up to what a second Trump term would mean for both them and the democratic world; and the thought of Trump Mkii should concern those who would bear the brunt of his malicious actions for years to come…
It really is too much to contemplate…
Personally, I’m backing Kamala Harris as the candidate that will keep the habitual liar and convicted felon out of the White House…!

I would vote trump all day long if I was an American.

I totally agree with you Chris.
My feeling is that Trump will get the votes he needs though. He won't win the popular vote but I don't see Harris winning in the places she needs to.
A bit like the two elections before this, neither candidate is a brilliant choice for the American people. Both have their faults when it comes to policy in my view - some would say that it's like the UK election, not a great choice for the electorate.

The fact Trump has positive, respectful relationships with Putin and Netanyahu meant that Russia never invaded anyone during Trump's term (they went into Crimea before Trump, they've gone into Ukraine after Trump) and multiple peace deals were brokered in the Middle East by Trump.
Trump also formed a positive relationship with Kim Jong Un, getting him to denuclearise North Korea.
Trump is the only President in the last few decades to never start a war (apart from when he funded the US Military to quickly take care of ISIS).
The world was a much safer place under Trump and every American was better off financially with employment opportunities, with companies moving back into America. Trump also took care of MS-13 and other violent gangs illegally crossing the border.
Every American not brainwashed by the media will be voting for Trump and I think he will get far more votes this election. Trump is encouraging his supporters to vote early to make the election "too big to rig". The media are already saying it could take weeks for the winner to be announced, so it will be interesting to see what happens. How many late ballots are going to arrive this time?
If it's a fair election, Trump will win by a landslide.

Politics doesn’t interest me one bit but I do watch with interest.
The sad thing for me is that this isn’t a battle about policies, it’s turned into a hate filled campaign fought on social media.
I’m not sure either side know what they’re voting for anymore, apart from cementing their hate filled position.

Very tight and too close to call. Hope Trump wins as Harris will just be another pisspoor leader, who’s in the MICs pocket. I’ve yet to hear Harris answer one question directly, she’s probably the worst POTUS candidate in my lifetime and that includes W Bush. Ultimately I’ve not got a dog in the fight but the meltdown from the Democrat weirdos , if Trump wins, will be epic. Plus Trumps very funny.

Harris is a Marxist and will be a danger to the world, she's unfit to be president, everything the Democrats accuses the Republicans off they've done themselves, there a danger to the world a total war machine! .

Trump is a huge man child who shouldn’t be anywhere near the presidency.
To say “no wars happened when trump was is office” is ignoring the fact that he frequently threatened countries with nuclear war. He’s off his rocker and is easily manipulated by any dictator that strokes his ego - remember when he trusted Putin over his own intelligence?
Not a Harris fan, just think you need a grown up in the room for such an important job.

If he doesn’t win he will try to win by skulduggery like last election... as for putin and Netanyahu his words ..... I will stop funding Ukraine war unless Ukraine agree peace and give up their land? Netanyahu if I was president I would have allowed him to destroy nuclear facilities as well as oil facilities doesn’t sound like a person who as sympathy for the 50k civilians killed under the pretence of self defence..... is that not
open for both men mentioned to have free hand to do what they want with impunity? he also is anti nato and threatens to withdraw funding .... you may be right about not starting wars but his way of finishing them is simplistic but wrong and dangerous..

For me, it is another slab of evidence how bat shit crazy the USA can be if these are the 2 shortlisted candidates.
I'd take Vincent Tan over the pair of them, and that is saying something.

Kamala Harris makes Joe Biden sound articulate.
Trump for me all the way as he's not in the WEF's pocket, which is huge.
I don't think they will allow him to win though, so I think it'll be her (sadly)

Most people probably don't know the influence the WEF has over many World Governments, but the above comments are true and will probably and sadly come to light

I was always told not to talk about politics or religion at the dinner table unless you want to lose friends but that is all this site is devolving into lately.

So when WEF founder Klaus Schwab promised “you’ll own nothing but be happy” you’re fine with that? Harris, just like Biden, Sunak Johnson, Macron and Merkel, is a Globalist shill.

It's a mug's game to try and predict the result of a US Presidential Election.
But I'll be a mug and give my prediction:
Trump will win and win comfortably, he will get over 300 Electoral College votes. All the talk in the build up has been that it will be a close race but he will win by a distance.
I'll probably be wrong and am prepared for that, but that's my guess ahead of the next few days as the polls close today.

The fun as already started legal challenges for overseas votes is just the start of the skullduggery.

Indeed, he didn’t HAVE to comment; but did…
Be interesting to hear what is such a (quote) ‘pile of shit’ anywhere above; or did he mean the election itself…?
Either way, I’d like to hear what ‘Welsman in CA’ has to say on the matter…!

Sort of see you all for the game tomorrow.

My opinion is that it's unbelievably too close to call either way but grifter's got to grift & there will always be people willing to buy snake oil. There's just too much noise & not enough sense from either side to gauge how it will turn out but being in California we're insulated from a lot of the nonsense going on.

Harris will be assassinated by someone in a red MAGA baseball cap and there will be a clampdown on many freedoms. America will crumble ... crikey this is getting dark!

How was he denied by the Whitehouse in 2020 when he was the one in the Whitehouse? I've never understood this line of thinking at all. Just like the "it's rigged if he loses but not if he wins", none of it makes any sense at all.
I don't think he will win, too many Republicans have deserted their own side but other than that I hope you're right & the Bluebirds win 2-1.
