Riza has done a good job in turning our form around. Our unbeaten run was never going to go on forever.
But when he needed to turn the game around tonight, it's not like he had brilliant options off the bench.
Kanga, Meite (who came on at half time), Ashford and even Willock are not inspiring choices.
A further example that we still desperately need more attacking options for depth.
Robinson, Colwill, Tanner etc are great players to have when things are going well and going to plan.
But obviously Championship football often doesn't go to plan.
This highlighted tonight, one again, that our attacking back up options are way below the level needed.
On the other hand, Luton brought on a striker who scored ten in the PL last season.

Completely agree and it's equally why we shouldn't be too downbeat tonight. There needs to be a reality check that this squad is not that good. The dreadful start wasn't purely all down to Bulut and arguably Riza has over achieved in recent weeks with these players. I hope we finish mid table but can easily still see us fighting relegation this year too.

Spot on.
Options off the bench were very limited tonight but I still cannot understand why Kanga is on the bench ahead of Reindorf.
Reindorf cannot possibly be worse than Kanga or indeed Willock or El Ghazi.

Exactly our lack of decent attackers is our biggest problem, whoever you bring on is useless and Elghazi and Willock offer very little .Move on who you can in Jan and get others in

Ralls back will be big, i guess Ramsey too so we have options in midfield. But we are kinda stuck up front and out wide, there no real replacement from Tanner or another option on the other wing unless we put ODowda there and Bagan and LB.
We need a physical striker two options on the wing, like an out and out winger

Spot on we need better don’t know how long we need to give El Ghazi and Willock to show their supposed ability .Their excuses for fitness are beginning to wear thin ,how long is needed by a pro footballer get match fit
.An alternative to Robinson is also needed as all the alternatives are not up to scratch .We do miss Ralls and Ramsey as they are a lot of experience we could do with and be good off the bench

Nobody was scoring last night, our best effort was from a Meite header on the edge of the box, because even in injury time we were back to faffing around passing between 5 players outside the area rather than getting the ball into the danger area. Why?

They are looking a bit tired now, these three games a week benefit the teams with the best squads, one last push then a week to rest and recuperate for most of them.
