Substitutions today

I think I'm right in saying that we only made one substitution today and that was at half time when Meite came on for El Ghazi.

I found it a bit strange that towards the end of our third game in ten days and with us needing a spark to get back into the game Riza chose to make no substitutions at all during the second half.

Was it perhaps his way of sending a message to Tan that there was nobody of sufficient quality on the bench that he could bring on in order to change the game?

Good luck with that Omar - Vinny was probably watching at home in his pyjamas scratching his head as to why Horvarth wasn't brought on to score a hat trick.

People have been saying that his substitutions have been terrible.

When he makes subs he gets slated, when he doesn’t make subs he gets slated.

There isn’t much quality on our bench though which could be why, hopefully we give some time to the likes on Reindorf and Joel Colwill from January
