A forum for all things Cardiff City

It's known that the players and Riza read this forum and social media.
I hope he knows that a lot of the anger isn't necessarily towards him.
He's a decent bloke and of course he would jump at the chance to manage a Championship team. He can't be blamed for that and it's not his fault we didn't appoint someone better.
The anger is, rightly, towards the board.
I just hope he knows that and I'm sure he does.

He must know it’s not personal.
We all just want what’s best for the club we love.
I would love for him to prove us all wrong.

Well said Worcester_ccfc!
Although a lot of fans on this forum disagree with this appointment (and I totally see why), he's a good guy and he's working his balls off for this club. We've got to try and help him and get behind him.
I just really really hope all the players are on side with this appointment. They said some great things about Riza a month back, I hope nothing has changed. Not sure I'm seeing that on the pitch but I'll try and ignore that and continue to support the boys!!!

Obviously does going by his apology tonight...

Totally agree , I hope he proves his worth and we have a much better 2nd season .
This is the time for everyone to get behind him and the players, desperate for good momentum again

Yeah he’s a nice guy. I hope to hear some “Omer Riza’s Barmy Army” on Saturday.

Couldn't agree more.
Absolutely nothing personal against Riza who seems like a decent bloke and we would all love him to prove us wrong and feed us a huge helping of humble pie.

Support the team & the manager rather than be dismissive of the man like some are & have been, it's just disrespectful. He's doing his best & has been put in a difficult position & the vitriol needs to be directed at the owner not the manager.

As long as he’s manager he will have my support hope he’s backed in Jan and is able to get in a few players.Still think we could do with an experienced football man like Mowbray even if it’s only a consultancy post to help and advise

Yes I agree with you both.
Get down the CCS Saturday and support the boys.

Riza has done ok in fairness just lacks any sort of management experience which is absolutely crucial in the championship
Tan, Dalman and Choo are the problem and they have once again made a complete hash of handling this appointment
I wish Riza well and hope he keeps us up
What this farce has done is turn virtually the whole fan base against the the 3 clowns and I just hope at the next fans meeting thingy Dalman and Choo are given are real hard time. Although I have a feeling one or maybe both won’t turn up as they are both gutless and always go awol in tough situations

I agree with the OP, but he's nice, we're nice to play against, our stadium is a nice experience.
Are we going to be too nice to stay up?

It's not just OR, the players have the final say in success or failure. We cant keep hoping for a messiah manager, the players have to fully commit to the club or we fail whoever is in charge.

Unfortunately we can say it’s not again them but it is. It’s solely because we underperforming, if we were top of the championship there be no protests.
