Looks like relegation to league one , and I can see another relegation to league 2 the board have ruined our club

Typical Tan , saves on paying another manager as he is still under contract. He seems to take great joy of running us like a circus. Don't think you will see him this season. Why doesn't he just sell up and leave us alone or is this his way of revenging the fans who turned us back to blue?

How easy will it be to get "anyone of note" to join when we're in League 1 I wonder?
I didn't say anything at all about it being the correct decision, just an opinion on why he may have made it rather than get someone new now. He doesn't like a long contract & we all know that, he's been stung having to pay compo more than once, but that's how football is & he should know that by now but we also know he's a stubborn fker.

We’re going down

I maybe just wishing but does this sound a little like let him have it as i won,t be owner next season

Well, I did state at the sacking of Erol Bulut that the club (nee Vincent Tan) were desperate to appoint Omer Riza as manager and so it has proven
Other ‘rumours’ did the rounds but none were ever ‘solid’ and that just further indicated the owner’s preference and explains the ‘lack of real movement’ whilst they have him every chance
The irony here is two-fold, i.e. the results have dipped following a four game streak against mainly the Championship’s poorer teams; and also the availability of a proven Championship manager in local boy Steve Cooper
Like it or not, and I’m actually not against the appointment of Omer Riza for the remainder of the season, we are where we are and now need (as most do) to get behind Omer Riza and his squad
I will do that but my fear is that any real ambition we had for this season (and maybe beyond) has just dissipated into thin air

True, and the reason he has to keep stumping up compensation is because of the useless managerial appointments he keeps on making.
It's like a stuck record

I've been a season ticket holder for 20 odd years , have only missed I think it is two or three games since we have been in the new stadium ,I've watched city in old division 4 etc ,they say support the team no matter what league we are in but I'm not giving tan any more of my money ,I won't be renewing next season ,he hasn't got a clue how to run a football club ,it's mad when you think about it a big business man that is settling himself up to fail.

Support the team not the regime. And it sounds like you've seen a lot worse in your day supporting city, I know I have and yet we're still here & so we should be if we're true supporters.
None of your hard earned is going to him anyway, he loses money season after season.

He got the job permanently now he has to show he is worth it.
Up until now I think he's deserves it and I like riza .The players want him that's good .
It is however a gamble again by Tan we've all been down this road more tha once before .
Let's hope Tan is right he isn't right much so he has to be right at some point hope this is it .
.ark Robins was available and steve cooper is so ???

What's going to happen next season If stay up what then? Riza may deserve more time depending on rest of this seasons performances but what is not OK is having purse as assistant..... any inexperienced coach like mcenna (Ipswich) have an experienced sidekick to help him is purse that person for riza? Definitely not his under 21 experience showed he as not got it as a coach and unless club realises this we will be looking for new coach after couple of months of new season.. average life of championship coach is 9mnths says it all

It’s a results game now if Riza wants to gain the fans confidence in him. No point in saying we played well, we’re the better team, didn’t deserve to lose…. We’ve that shit for long enough, points on the board we need.

Our biggest concern is the squad is too weak without new blood in Jan we are knackered whoever is the manager .Tan has saved money on not employing a new manager so the least he can do is let Riza get in what he thinks he needs to salvage the season

Just waiting for the paid liar and spin doctor dalman to pop his head out from under a dried up Kalahari dog turd.
"We interviewed 373626 managers he was the right person for the job"
Ambition of zero but has been for years now. Either way it's an uphill battle no matter who's the scapegoat name who's supposed to be in charge with this bottom half of the table below par squad. So hopefully we stay up but we shall see. Either way as a city fan I've seen much worse sides and managers so he will get my backing as what else can we do as fans if you can't back the manager and team on a game day as everything else is out of us fans hands despite what we would prefer or want we don't pay the big bills

Leave Riza as Interim manager for now and keep monitoring until June 2025 when his contract runs out.
No hurry or panic
