According to the club statement put out this evening the fourth and final meeting of this year between the club representatives and the FAB is due to take place next Monday night.
Let's hope for once that the fan representatives manage to grow a set of bollocks and make it clear to the idiots running the club that their attitude towards the fanbase is an absolute disgrace.
The club have attacked and disrespected the FAB with their insulting reply to the open letter so hopefully at that meeting enough of the fan representatives will be pissed off enough not to be fobbed off by the usual crock of shit spouted by Dalman and his cronies.
It needs to be made clear to the clowns in charge that the way they are running the club is totally shambolic and the treatment of elected fans representatives and the fanbase as a whole is an absolute disgrace.

Spot on.
I'm hoping the fans groups will be as pissed off as the rest of us with that statement tonight, and go in all guns blazing.
The worst would be if they get told the usual rubbish and don't challenge it or say afterwards that they were pleased with the meeting.

Why vote a fans rep without b.ll.cks,
you really need a shaker who will not take exuses and not worried to offend you are in a position to souly represent fans only.

This is the opportunity to tell them fans want tan gone..... ask directly why didn't appoint the better coaches available and not promote someone from within... .make it absolutely clear on theses topics no matter if it upsets them ..... forget talking communication thats pointless and been talked to death...... unless do this no point in talking .

This is how the next meeting will go with the chosen few.
We need this:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_HjqOiACM0wMehmet will tell them all for the Umpteenth time that Vincent Tan is against a DoF.
He will say how good it was to see Michael Reindorth make his debut and that Gavin Chesterfield is doing a great job in the Academy .
He will talk about the Academy training facilities.
They will turn up with Steve Borley and Gavin Chesterfield and they will do most of the talking.
Dalman will Promise more communication and fan meetings and Keith Morgan will Smile and The FAB group will clap.
Dalman will say the club really want to get this appointment right so are taking their time over it and interviewing over 30
Applicants.
They are talking to some very exciting names and asking the fans to keep patience and bear with them.
Vincent Tan is still fully committed for the future.
Sala case ongoing, club are very hopeful but can't say anymore.
January transfer window planning ongoing and the fans will be very pleased when they see who is coming in and plenty to get excited about.
Those Chosen to attend the Meeting will feel very important and listened to and leave happily with clapping at the end.
They will all put out the future looks great and then Glen Williams will sensationalist it.

Monty,
Because it was a total set up.
They only sent voting forms / emails to those they wanted to be puppets.
All those who ask Straight / Honest Questions or Questions that they don’t like are Never invited again to the Meetings A FACT.
They are Puppets The Trust / FAB etc

Well board won't have choice when legislation comes in if someone is official of a fans club.. but sometimes got to stick to your principles .. besides what else can fab dicuss that hasn't already been said numerous times before?
Can see it being an argument about fab doing things correctly regarding meetings and sfa about anything else... as fans we want to know why dalman said used top agency to search for coach but they simply promoted an employee....that's what need to know not why board don't tell fans anything something we all know why.

ANNIS
We should have reps who don' t care whether they are invited back or not,
i certainly would' nt.
Say your piece put them on the spot and if they don't bother to answer the question,
Repeat and insist that the question is answered,
then let someone else ask at the next meeting.

Think some of the negativity to the FAB is a little unfair here .. how many of you have contacted a member? Make your points, ask them to be raised and if they aren’t then I guess that’s a separate conversation. They’ve brought together the various clubs/trusts under one banner. Momentum is starting. Let’s see the outcome from Monday.
I’d suggest dropping a note the mailbox they have and asking for the points to be raised. Sure you won’t be the only one at the moment. We elected them so long term can only blame ourselves .. I applied and lost the vote , I’m not bitter. We move on and trust those have our interests at heart. Nobody is on that board for a laugh, they love the club. If Monday doesn’t go well then good like to think they can be the focal point to organise moving forward.

It’s not negativity towards them on my side mate. Fan groups are vital but they are shouting into the void when it comes to Tan and his cronies.
Sat Dec 07, 2024 6:01 pm
Yup, and I think that void is becoming clearer and clearer given the dismissive response of the club. Let them follow supposed process, as agreed. If Monday is another battle without any substance, then logically they’re best positioned to to unite the fans.
On a personal level, I have felt for some time the position of the CEO and Chairman has become untenable. Given the owner wants vast sums for the club, I find it unlikely we can push that until Nantes, but until then a change at the top might provide more impetus and at least get us close to running like a championship club again
Sat Dec 07, 2024 6:22 pm
On Monday, the FAB need to state that the fans want answers to these questions and not a meeting where "protocol" is discussed. The club are fully aware of the questions and dissent as it's been brought up before and is also widely echoed in the media by ex players and pundits etc.
It doesn't matter if the letter was open or not at this stage and the board shouldn't be allowed to try to use this to derail the meeting and not answer the questions.
And that's just answering questions. What we want to see is action, not just hot air.
There are other important questions too such as the Wayne Nash atmosphere killing issue but it's important that the FAB pushes for answers on Monday and not get placated with the usual empty platitudes of the board and others.
I'd also like to see the agenda for the meeting and also minutes of what is discussed. They don't appear to be on the FAB website when I looked.
But what I want to see is action and not hot air, the FAB really need to push this and state that things are that bad that fans are discussing protests and boycotts and cannot be ignored and treated like this any longer.
Sat Dec 07, 2024 6:48 pm
As above, I’m not on the FAB so am not going to sit here defending it all night, but minutes are here:
https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/club/fan-advisory-boardCorky does his best to ensure it’s all collated. Personally I raised my concerns on the statement with him via his SLO role and sure I’m on a naughty list somewhere like most of you but there we go. At some point, no matter the on pitch success, it’s going to become untenable for those at the top. It will need someone or a group to lead it and unite the many factions the club has. IMO the FAB is the obvious choice here given it involves all.

Thanks for the minutes link, Corky is a great guy. Let's hope that the club answer the exam questions on Monday and that the FAB press them on it.
Sat Dec 07, 2024 7:50 pm
is there any point in the meeting when all they will say is what you want to hear. Basically lying to your faces.
they will simply just ignore us like they always have done.
Nothing will change.
The dream for us fans are that Tan Choo AND Memet leave the club.
And give it to an owner who is actually invested in this club and is willing to pump money into it in order to get this club going forwards to the Premier League with greater communication with the fan base.
Sun Dec 08, 2024 9:05 am
BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front)
The Board needs to be told that Tan and his cronies need to leave this club asap, inline with what the majority of fans want. Valuing the club at 200 million is ludicrous and the club will be worth even less if we continue on our current trajectory. I.e relegation.
Don't listen to the excuses and bullshit that the board spout. This regime will never change as all they see this club as is a business and couldn't give a toss about our history or fans. TAN OUT!
Sun Dec 08, 2024 1:45 pm
We need to stop getting our hopes up, its not a board meeting, its a glorified focus group where they run very low-level stuff by them for feedback and they'll consider it.
Sun Dec 08, 2024 2:30 pm
Do was they do boycott the meeting, don't turn up yo say enough is enough
Sun Dec 08, 2024 8:51 pm

Better be careful or you'll be accused of supporting the board! But what you say is correct especially as they knew was meeting Monday?
After meeting was time to vent any anger at board if didn't get answers to the questions that they asked in letter... presuming of course that's the questions they'll ask Monday??
Sun Dec 08, 2024 9:10 pm
As I understand it there were agreed Terms Of Reference and FAB have not followed due process so what do you expect?

I've read through the TOR and there is nothing specific there. Logically you would have presumed that the open letter questions would have been discussed and tabled prior for answers before using an open letter format though.
But whatever, the FAB should press for answers and actions plus the club are already well aware of the concerns of the fans, so the questions are of no surprise. This is all on the club, not the FAB BTW and they should be addressing the concerns as opposed to gaslighting and citing "protocol breaches" & dodging the bullets.

Well there's 4 meetings arranged last one is on Monday so someone from board and fab must communicate for this to happen ... so will take guess its a joint process? So the question being asked by people is why did fab put out open letter knowing they were meeting Monday? Why couldn't they wait couple days to put those questions to the meeting?
Yes fab had right to publish open letter no ones said that ... but the timing that's being questioned

Ok, my guess is it's the clubs process.
It's an open-letter. Therefore intended for eyes more than the 'behind closed doors' meeting that suits the club. I didn't see many a) raising an issue with the content and b) raising an issue with the timing of it aligned to this 'process'.
We're in a crisis. There is never a good time to escalate. The response from the club shows to me that it hit exactly the right spot and todays' meeting may have a significantly different agenda as a result and not just a run-of-the-mill agenda.
Good job FAB, in my opinion.

I’ve been told they are sending Borley as they know fans have had enough of Dalman and NO one will have ago at Borley.
Choo and Nash also

If this is true Annis then Dalman is a gutless little sh*t. We really do need to chase the two fraudsters and Tan out of our club.
