Riza has just said Purse and him have only been in charge for a few months.
So how much influence has the latter got?
How can a man who failed our U21’s so miserably be in a position where he has such an input on championship football? What are the Hierarchy thinking of?
Absolutely ridiculous. I hope Riza ignores whatever he says and gets on the front foot against Preston and attacks. If Riza is ill at any stage Purse will be in charge. What a sorry state of affairs.

I cannot believe the club I have supported since 1966 has come to this. I think of all the great players - so many - Harris, Murray, King, Gibson, Clark, Kav, Chopra, Perry, Witts etc - sorry I’ve missed so many out. I think most of all Phil Dwyer. I would love to have had him have a 10 minute conversation with The Hierachy. They would then have had an understanding about what it meant playing for the City. A hard and proud man.
