The Star Malaysia

Tue Dec 10, 2024 5:39 pm

Hello all I have just submitted a email letter to the senior editor of the sports section of the star Malaysia in hopes of creating an article about tan and what he has done to our club! I have detailed about the debts he’s put us in the colour change lack of support and enthusiasm for the club the amount of court cases he’s had. I’ve had enough! And I have just emailed them now and I will update you all if I receive a response

I believe another member here has sent a detailed email over too, surely if there is enough emails sent, they will run a story.

Yep that was me. As a former CCFC photographer I used to send images to the Malaysia Star when we were in the Premier League.

I put up the contacts last week

I also wrote an article but its not been published yet.

Dont lose heart. The more letters they receive the more they will consider writing an article or looking into it.

How do we start a petition to show numbers that want him out?

It won’t make a diffference here, but if we had 10000 people who want him gone, that would be a big enough number for the Star to see it as a story worth running I would imagine

I like how 'Tan out' is gathering momentum.

Still too many of our fans seem oblivious to the effect Tan and his cronies are having on our club.

TAN OUT!!!

I imagine this paper might well take note of the protest march - especially if we get a good turn out like we did last time.

I would also factor that if Berjaya are an advertiser in the print copy of the paper... would any letter gain traction.

Sorry to sound a bit of a misery but newspapers will often not wish to upset their advertisers.

If you search Vincent Tan on the Star website - he's got lots of fingers in many pies - HR Owen, Berjaya, Starbucks Malaysia plus others...

I would hazard that they possibly spend a fair few quid with The Star in each and every issue. Granted HR Owen not so much - but they did run an article on HRO being in the upper uchelons of Rolls dealers.

It'll be interesting to see the response, Journalism in the far east is probably diff to the Europe. Less free I'm thinking

We need to get after Choo and Dalman’s car dealerships in London. They will be there and it’s the only way they’ll listen.

Don't hold your breath, the media will be controlled by the regime.

Get the details up again, lets bombarde them with shite so the thick c**t gets the msssage and leaves our club. This is death by a thousand cuts.

Pictures of an empty stadium on sky that will show how bad the supporters feel about Tan Dalman & Choo

I have sent a copy of the fans letter with a letter saying the following:

Dear Mediaprima

Attached is an open letter from Cardiff City fans to the board of Cardiff City.

The fans are not happy with the way the club is being run by Vincent Tan, Ken Choo and Mehmet Dalman. All is not well at Cardiff City.

Please feel to use as you see fit.

Cardiff City fans feel that the type of management in operation at the moment is far from ideal, as apart from our squad manager, the management are at arms length. All board members, it seems, have other and more important priorities.

Cardiff City have a very loyal and in most cases lifetime fanbase. I and many other Cardiff City fans think we deserve better management
