A forum for all things Cardiff City

Guys after another sad result, and another sad performance, I can confirm that the basis of the Protest has formally begun.
A number of good guys are willing to put in hard work, immensely hard work to organise an event for the Swansea match which is only 38 days away. 38 days! We need help, but recognise that organisation is key, and we will be as ready as we can be with the little time that we have and will promote through as many channels as we are able. I've proposed a tentative agenda which I will follow up with the initial group over the next 24/48 hrs.
WE WANT THIS TO BE BIG. WE NEED THIS TO BE BIG....... THE TIME HAS COME. NOW OR NEVER.
SATURDAY 18th JANUARY/ 11am MARCH FROM ADMIRAL NAPIER TO THE CCS STADIUM MAIN ENTRANCE
Please, all we ask of you, and I know so many want to help, is to help us by spreading the word of the protest. Keeping an eye on the MB for news. We are going to promote this as best we can, but WE NEED YOU TO BE PRESENT AT THE MARCH. PLEASE ALSO BRING AS MANY WITH YOU TO THE MARCH AS YOU CAN.
Sky Cameras, BBC cameras will be there. We need to tell the sporting world just what is going on here through as many media outlets as we can.
If you do nothing, don't expect anything to change. We want and need this day to be memorable. This is the day Cardiff City fans can wake up to Vincent Tan and the board and say 'NO MORE'.
Talking is now done. For now, we are just asking everyone to be present to protest before the Jacks game.
I'll leave you with this ;
" Get up Cardiff City fans. Nobody cares about your story until you win"

Gents - that was sadly entirely predictable after the QPR game and there are no longer three teams worse than us or being docked points to save us.
This is the first season after an awful four years where I can see us finally dropping.
Riza looked lost tonight and there is no "siege" mentality from the players. Support is dropping off directly because of the lack of enthusiasm from the owner and board.
How can a one club capital city with a potential fan base catchment of 1.5million, the biggest in the UK be in this state? Especially when the sums that Tan has wasted would equate to two teams achieving sustainable premier League football.
We should be playing Man City now on a cold Wednesday night, not a poor Preston and staring at relegation.
The time is overdue for protest and the club closing down the FAB open letter combined with it's consistent piss poor appointments, recruitment and results was the touch paper, as what it really shows is that the fans concerns are of no concern to Tan and his part time inept nodding donkey board.

Totally agree Paul, the drip drip of mediocre and demise has now gone into freefall.
I stated on another thread I had family plans for that weekend. I have now postponed them. I will be there.
As the OP states, I urge all City fans to make the effort, often considerable, to turn up and support. Failing that please post on your social media and spread the word. We have had enough of these clowns, it has to end.
This has to stop, and it will NOT if we do NOTHING.

It really is that bad Jim and I know how much you love the club and great you will be there. We need to all spread the word as we did when we successfully matched against the red debacle.
We need to turn up in our thousands as we have done before ahead of the game on the 18th, as it's the only language, along with appropriate media coverage, that Tan and co understand as otherwise our demise is nailed on.
Will it make a difference? Who knows but the way things are we have to try, as one thing is for sure, the board isn't and they are not even listening.

With Swansea I find when things are going bad we protest against our owners yet when we are winning nothing happens and it looks like everything and everyone are fine. It is possible that between now and when we play you, that you go on a winning run. I feel like the trick to getting people noticed that you want your owner gone is to protest heavily when you team is doing very well. I understand this is very tricky but I feel only that would get people's attention on sky TV.

How many more plans for protests is there?because if it is only the swansea game we are targeting then the enemy might think it is just a flash in the pan and wait for it to die down.

I did suggest the following home game is against derby next,
and could be an oppurtunity for nobody to attend a completly empty stadium like covid times,
perhaps the organisers have more plans in the pipeline i would have thought it would have to be sustained not just a one off
Lets be honest not many are attending anyway to the home games,
and for those that need the fix go to the away games.

This is all very commendable but a total waste of time and effort in my opinion. Let me stress, I would love to see the ownership change, ideally to Welsh owners but where do we think the money is coming from to unseat Tan? There is no doubt that he has poured phenomenal sums into the club, his own business interests in Malaysia are suffering post Covid. Do we honestly think a frigging protest march will persuade him to walk away? I suggest we are deluded.

Are you sure you are a bluebird ?
How bad does it have to get ,
before you are persuaded that tan is not the man to own cardiff city
A protest march is the start not the end but a good place to start against the swans sky tv cameras
Tan is sadly getting worse i don' t know if you have noticed this ?
Even just 1 thing of the list of failures,
we have been wanting a striker for the last 4 years we got farmer dido last season found asleep somewhere in spain.
This season we sourced super sub kanga ffs
I am not going to go through the long list of failures under tan
Which are many ,
and its at breaking point as you may have noticed attendances as low as 8,000
I repeat how bad does it have to get.
