Yousef Salech

For a guy who’s only been here 24hrs how great it was to see him getting stuck in at the end and celebrate like he’d been here 10yrs. Looks a proper team player. :ayatollah:

I enjoyed the fact that during the fracas in the penalty box at the end he was holding 2 or 3 Swansea players on his own

Yeah I noticed that. He didn’t even seem angry he was just holding two of them off easily!

We’ve needed a striker defending from the front, at one point he had 3 jacks grabbing him but the threat and he was pushing them backwards

Nice to see a cameo role today from a player showing passion, we all know he’s got a massive shirt to fill

Promising cameo from him.

Showed his strength by holding off those Swansea players in the melee.

Ran around a lot and put in the effort. Showed some passion.

Expect he'll get more minutes on Tuesday but like what I saw today.

I don't think he touched the ball did he, so I still have no idea what his ball control, link up play etc is like.

Today was the perfect introduction for him though, winning the derby and getting the taste of the atmosphere and life in the Championship.

He seemed to enjoy getting stuck into the melee, he seems the correct character for us from that involvement alone.

I'm looking forward to see what he can do for us, but we need to give him time. He needs to catch up with match fitness and he has never played at this intensity and tempo before. Hopefully he does well for us.

He had one nice lay off which was well controlled and accurate But i think that was his only touch

Watched his movement when he came on and it was very good.

He looks like the type of player that will always get in the right positions - we don't know yet if he'll score those chances but there were promising signs.

Excited by this signing he was running at the defence making them panic , great start :ayatollah:

I think he’s already got more steps in than Kanga

He did more in this short appearance than Kanga has someone all season. Promising start like his strength and passionate already. We need him desperately to come good and would love a front two with robbo and traditional 442. I think with with chambers excelling we could do this formation

Going to take time so best thing is for players to give him the ball or put ball in middle for him to challenge? The championship is extremely hard to play in as we all know so giving him chances to score is a must and more the better..

Someone needs to tell him the stadium won't be that full or have an atmosphere like that most weeks

The couple of touches he had were in front of me. For a big lad he has a deft touch.

My exact thoughts he must have though f.ck me this place is banging mental fans and atmosphere
Thing is it could be like that if fans did turn up but its the usual once a year.

He'll be wondering what's going on when we play Derby next week

But I agree, shows what it can be like in our home games when people turn up.

Would hope we'll see a higher than average crowd next week but not holding my breath.
