Darling and Cabanger

I'm hearing that Luke Williams is under pressure to keep his job because he decided to play Darling and Cabanger when they were not fit.

I can understand him playing them but if they were unfit it was one huge risk. Looking at both their performances this would explain a lot.

Think rizas tactics were more likely why they were ineffective than injury.... if you look at swans game stats they do better in 1st half games well we starved them of movement in front of darling ect
So they were ineffective 2nd half well it backs up the stats for them... 3 away games 10 goals conceded none scored....meeting more about that than yesterday plus 70% possession the blogger you put on here earlier summed their tactics perfectly... tedious crap

Think that's just Jacks getting the excuses in.

They didn't look unfit - they were just awful, especially Darling.

But I don't think that's where the game was won anyway.

For years, Grimes has run rings around us in midfield. But yesterday Chambers, Robertson and Ralls outplayed their midfield comfortably. That's a big factor in the victory.

The defensive mistakes helped for the goals, especially the second, but we simply wouldn't have won that game without being better in midfield.
