Iheanacho has joined Boro on loan until the end of the season.

That’s a great signing for a championship team.

This is typical of championship teams going for promotion try and get that bit of quality at a price of course to get them over line....

Not quite yet

Said this every window for the last 5 years and not got it right once
Many names that I have said we were getting
Bulut had confirmed them, but you lot don't bother to read what he has said, transfers are not guaranteed, and many fell through.
There are players we have signed I was told about, but I could not be bothered putting names out on the board anymore i don't need the hastle. So guys you will have to find someone else to make fun of.
By the way we are after another young striker, Perhaps if we dont do the deal,Riza will tell you who we tried to sign when the window closes!

Not making fun mate at all, just I haven’t noticed any names you’ve mentioned that’s all mate and every time I’ve seen you say we not done yet we always end up not signing someone

That in itself doesn't mean we weren't done, just that they never got things over the line for a whole host of reasons.

25% of this board believe every rumor or name mentioned like it's fact
25% say everything people say is bs & complain about everything to do with the club
25% think because something didn't happen it wasn't in the works or nobody tried to get players & the manager is just a weak mouthpiece & should grow some balls
10% know something but get ripped to pieces by others if something they said doesn't happen
10% wait patiently until the club announce something
5% wouldn't be happy no matter what

Brilliant!

But I think there’s more than 5% on your last line.

Not sure monty but they do get loans in especially from premier league clubs .... musnt forget in previous years we've done very well with loans shame it's to keep us in championship and not challenging for promotion? Mind you some clubs like Hull go ott with what they spend and go nowhere... think take look at who's done what around us could be interesting.

Queens Park Rangers deal to sign forward Harvey Vale, 21, from Chelsea is just pending an announcement.

The academy graduate is set to leave Stamford Bridge for a nominal fee but with a sell-on clause included to sign a three-and-a-half-year deal at Loftus Road.

Aston Villa's hectic activity in the last 48 hours will be completed with loan signing of Chelsea defender Axel Disasi.

He joins other loan deals to sign Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio from Manchester United and Paris St. Germain respectively.

Emery made his desire for new acquisitions clear after the defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday night and Villa have delivered for a manager who has earned that trust and backing with his superb work since succeeding Steven Gerrard in November 2022.

Gonzalez joins Man City from Porto -

Well we've been waiting for Manchester City to get this one over the line and they have just in time.

Porto midfielder Nico Gonzalez joins Pep Guardiola's side for a fee of €60m(£50m) on a four-and-a-half year deal.

The 23-year-old can operate as a defensive, central or attacking player and it is hoped the Spaniard will bolster City's midfield in the absence of Ballon d'Or winner Rodri as well as slotting into the team once he returns.

The January transfer window is now officially shut (on 3 February)!

That means no more deals can be started but, as mentioned earlier, clubs can submit a deal sheet to the Premier League to give themselves another couple of hours until 01:00 GMT to get their deal over the line.

Man City spend big in January window -

Nico Gonzalez (£50m) becomes Manchester City's fourth signing of the window.

Forward Omar Marmoush (£59m) and defenders Abdukodir Khusanov (£33.6m) and Vitor Reis (£29.6m) joined earlier in the window.

Gonzalez's arrival takes Manchester City's spending this window up to about £180m, compared to £177m for the other 19 teams in the Premier League combined.

That's the second-highest spend in a winter window ever, behind Chelsea in 2023, who spent €330m (£275m).

Monty it's the quality that counts!
We've done really well and have hopefully improved squad with all 3 players? Can hull ect say same because 7 players is a rediculas amount for January did say owner goes ott with little result.. one team that could be in trouble is swans their 3 on paper dont inspire confidence as only one had experienced at burnley and missed out on 4 other players plus in freefall......but time will tell who's done best buisness.
