OMER RIZA LATEST ON TRANSFERS / MORE COULD HAPPEN:

Omer Riza:

"We did our work, signed diligently. I’m really happy. It was a good window. I wasn’t glued to the phone or anything like that. Boys have gone out on loan, good for their development.”

“It was quite relaxed," Riza said. "I was happy with what we had.”

“We now have a good squad and I can say it was a good Transfer Window for us.”

Jamilu Collins. It is understood the Nigeria international is not in the plans moving forward and he could still leave, with other countries' transfer windows, such as Portugal, Turkey and the MLS, still open.

“At the moment, JC is searching for another club," Riza said of Collins.

"We’ve had good, honest chats. The windows are not closed abroad so things might still happen there. In the meantime, he’ll continue to act professionally and train in order to play games. I'm not sure what will happen with that.”

OMER RIZA:

"Aaron Ramsey is in a good place, happy, smiling and training regularly with the group. He is up for selection like any other player. He could be involved on Saturday.

"We will manage Rambo accordingly. He is a senior player, just like with all our senior players, we will manage them hand rest them when we need to. Every player is really important to us in this second part of the season."

"He has got all the experience in the world, played at the highest level in the game. He has just had really bad luck with injuries, not being able to sustain long periods of playing. Hopefully he will get over that and be able to play.

"But we will have to manage him, the medical and coaching staff, Rambo, we are all in discussions all the time regarding it all."

“We never went after him and that’s as much as I can say.”

“I don't want to talk on his behalf, but I think Karlan is happy where he is and wants to fight for his place, which shows the character he is. I wish him all the best.”

WILL FISH :

“We’ve had a really good week of training,” Will began. “The lads are in good spirits and we played well last time we went to Stoke, so we just want to replicate that.

“Last weekend was a learning experience, and we’ve had to use it in a positive way, with an unbeaten run before that. The lads have spoken what they thought and now we move on.

“We can’t let that interrupt where we were earlier, and we’ll bounce back; you’ll see a reaction on the weekend."

“Every game of football you want to win, Whether it’s a different lineup to what you saw last weekend or not, everyone wants to play and I’m sure the lads that do will give everything.

“It’s a historic competition, and we want to go as far as we possibly can.

“Every time you play for the Club, you try your best. Not playing is tough at times but the lads in front of have done well, and the way football works it takes one little moment or chance, and you’ve got to take it.

“We fully believe that we can go there and get the win, but as I’ve said we want to get as far as possible in this competition.”

Omer Riza:

Stoke Away

“It’s going to be intense, it’s going to be aggressive," Omer began. "They’re going to want to win and we’re going there with that mentality. I want to win the game. From that game, you could be in the Fifth Round and you don’t know who you could get. It’s another game and it could be a good game. I just want to win and keep momentum going, that’s what’s important for me and the team.

“It’s a different team now under Mark Robins. They were tough, hard to play against, we really should have won the game, but they’re always an industrious team. The crowd expect them to work hard first and foremost, before anything else. That’s what you’re going to get from them. With Robins going there, the style of play may have changed a little bit, but we’re focused on ourselves to go and win the game."

The City boss continued with an injury update on the squad ahead of Saturday's fixture.

“Aaron Ramsey is in a good place, he’s happy and smiling. He’s training with the group regularly so he’s up for selection. He could be involved on Saturday. We’ll manage Rambo accordingly. We’ll use him for the qualities that he’s got and every player is really important to us in the second part of the season.

“He’s got all the experiences in the world, has played at the highest level of the game and he’s just had really bad luck with some injuries. Hopefully now he’ll get over that, he’ll be fit and will be ready to play. We’ll have to manage him accordingly.

Omer Riza:

“Isaak Davies has trained with us as well now. He’s starting to be reintroduced to the squad. He’s been out a while and we need to manage him safely as well. We’re in a good place and everyone will get good opportunities. “

“Isaak could potentially be introduced to some U21 minutes. He had a few setbacks so we have to be careful with him. He’s looking strong and happy, the medical staff are looking after him well. He’ll be ready when he’s ready. “

Why oh why ..... Does EVERY manager have to thank Tan???

Thank him for what? Backing him? Tan is not Backing this club to the extent that it needs. Even if he was providing Backing, then he is Backing himself because it is he thatis running every single aspect of the club including signings and team selection and tactics.....

I see our continetal scout has left with "imediate effect" should have had the boot after bringing in kanga .
I think my mum could have scouted better and she' s 91.

Its a case of sh.t or bust now we had 1 signing striker and 2 loans to help us stay in the championship thats what was thought to be adequate enough all 3 have no championship experiance all untested we will back them as they have a blue shirt on but if tan wanted to he could have pushed the boat out to make sure we kept our status,
its a big gamble with 3 untested players who all have not played that much recently.

Perhaps you can ask the board personally should you agree to attend a meeting. A supposition as powerful as this needs to be ratified so we know it's validity. Personally I wouldn't make any claim that I couldn't make face to face.

Seriously, that is very sensible of course, but I guarantee questions like this would be put to Dalman and Choo.

Dalman has already virtually admitted same in a podcast he did last year. Similar question was out to.him and his answer? "Nice weather we are having in Monaco this time of year".

I'm not sure how to take the answer if Dalman answered such a question. If Tan himself were to come out and deny all involvement then it would carry some weight....
