The fact that he ended up going nowhere tells me that he was happy to stay at WBA.

I read a few Baggies fans posts and they were expecting him to leave as he’s gone down the pecking order, and felt he’s been treated badly after a very good 1st half of the season and that he was unhappy, but hadn’t put in a transfer request.
