Seems a bit harsh, they've mostly got a League One squad and he got them promoted.
Not like they're cut adrift either.
Hope they go down anyway, a fanbase who think they're better than they are.

1st team coach taking over in interim... so unless he's got alternative tactics be difficult to improve in short term.

Eustace been given permission to talk to derby.
Mon Feb 10, 2025 11:28 pm
John Eustace has said his goodbyes and left Blackburn Rovers after agreeing to become the Derby County head coach, The Lancashire Telegraph can exclusively reveal.
Derby County look to be on the verge of landing John Eustace as their new manager amid claims he has told Blackburn Rovers he wants to leave the club.
After intense speculation over the last 24 hours, Eustace held talks with Rovers' hierarchy this afternoon after Derby made an official approach and triggered his reported £500,000 compensation clause.
In the latest development, TalkSport reporter Alex Crook says Eustace has told Derby's Championship rivals that he wants to leave because he did not feel supported by the club after a difficult January transfer window.
Derby had made Eustace their number one target to succeed previous head coach Paul Warne, who was sacked by the club on Friday after he had taken training ahead of the Norwich City game.
