Some said they'd never heard of him but I'd seen him play quite a bit before.

Our best player in the first half in my opinion. Always trying to make things happen and linking up with other players well.

Enjoy him while we can, because I can't see him being with us long.

You can see the technique and quality, should play a bit deeper though as he is missing that half a yard of pace.

We're going to need him to be at his absolute best if we're going to have any hope of avoiding the drop.

So it was aimed at me, okay I'll bite. He was brilliant when compared to almost all of the other players on display, not a high bar admittedly but he put in more effort in 5 first half minutes & won more balls than Robinson & Colwill did together the entire game.

I agree with you that he was much better than the rest - but as you say that was from a very low bar. In my opinion he had a decent game but wouldn't go farther than that. I was disappointed in the likes of Goutas who was so sloppy in his passing and seemed a yard slower than normal.

I can see he has an intelligent footballing brain. He took up some good positions and played a few nice passes, but he also misplaced a few passes and made some erratic tackles.

I thought he was combative with a few nice touches. Of course, there should be a lot more to come and we will hopefully see further improvement when he gets fully match fit.

I would give his performance a solid 7 out of 10, but no more than that. We shouldn't be getting too carried away or expecting too much, too soon.

Yes I tend to agree. You could see the class though, just the sharpness not there yet. Think he’s more suited to being deeper in midfield than a 10 though.

I’m not saying he won’t come good with his pedigree. But I didn’t think he done that well.
Not match fit, lost ball quite a bit. I’d prefer Chambers and Rambo as 2 sitting with Robertson infront.

I agree with you, his free kicks and corners are shocking.

I thought he was neat and tidy but I felt the movement infront of him was non existent last night and was why we ended up lumping balls forward which was bread and butter for there center halfs

never a 10, great first touch and can see a pass but played out of position.
