Hypothetical: If this is the year..

Hypothetical Scenario:

If this is the year that we get relegated, who would you expect/or like(Realistic options only) to see managing the club come week 1 of the new season?

1. Riza, & why?
2. Someone else(Named), & why?

I'm genuinely indecisive on this and i'm intrigued to hear opinions.

I back Riza but if we go down then he can't stay as manager obviously.

Who gets the job is another question. You'd want someone with experience of doing well in League One, it's a different league to the Championship.

Seen as though his name gets mentioned alot when we have a vacancy. I'd approach Nathan Jones if we did go down.

It would be a good time to approach too as it would be a 'reset' time for us, then hopefully within 2 years we could be looking at play offs in the championship

What if Charlton get promoted?

Nathan Jones has previously come out and said he won’t leave Charlton, it’s a work in progress.

If he doesn’t want us as a championship club he won’t want us as a league one club.

Hypothetically…. Rita booted out, so VT decides who replaces him,,,,, and I think we all got a pretty good idea of who that would be,,, regardless of who WE would like.

On our Clubs current, and recent history, we’d end up in Div 2 (dungeon) after only one season in Div1, such is the way City has, and is, currently being managed and run.

We can’t trust Tan with anymore managerial appointments. He’s gotten it massively wrong the last 6 times.

Until Tan goes we may as well stick with Riza- who I’m not a fan of.

Just don’t see anyone else willing to come here under Tan.

This is exactly why we would end up with Purse.

We simply cannot afford to have Purse in control of our 1st team.

That would be complete disaster.

That is why we must stick with Riza, who I believe will keep us up.
