Do we have a team capable of doing better? Yes, and they need to take some responsibility for our current predicament.

We have to support him & the team for the remainder of the season UNLESS Tan is going to offer a better manager a 3-year contract which is what we would all like & having a new thread every other day saying get rid of him is not helpful to anyone.

We have to support the team (& manager) not the regime.

This does not show a lack of ambition but it is reality.

Absolutely spot on.

Nothing wrong with us seeing the situation as it is. Which is Riza or Purse until the end of the season.

Most real comment I’ve seen on here all day.

Are people praising riza or just making the point he's kept us out of bottom 3? We all know we would be in relegation fight for rest season when he took over so wanting to replace him is bonkers knowing what alternative will be....
Yes 3 wins out 18 games is poor but the overall points collected in that time is keeping us out bottom 3? That's better than 4 other managers are managing at present if he keeps us up job done....We could attract a decent manager if they were offered decent 3yr contract as derby have shown prising eustace from a club with chance of promotion to one that as a good chance of relegation ...... and people are very disingenuous about the club they support....

Another good post.

It’s good to see that some people actually understand how this board is operating the club, instead of just saying let’s get rid.

What 17pts from 57pts is good? Your having a laugh anyone who says this.

3 Wins from now 19 games and your praising.

We are just about above, can so easily drop right in it.

Riza is not the main problem at all.

But he goes out for draws / 1pt.

Wins would have cleared totally of thinking about Relegation.

Riza I repeat again has had a long time in charge and by now should know his team.

Riza took over after only 6 games, how can anyone believe or want just to stay up from such an early stage.

Are we not Ambitious and please don’t say next season, that will be 6 seasons in a row saying such Bullshit.

I think we are crying out for coaches, set piece coaches and attacking coaches.

I could be wrong but don't cardiff have one of the smallest amount of coaching staff in the league ?

I went yesterday and the amount of times we gave the ball away after only a couple of passes was frustrating. And once again we concede a goal from sloppy defending.

I for one was relived for getting a point but not happy, our home games is a must win especially in the situation that we are in.

I am worried about the next two fixtures i feel we need 4 points if we loose them I'm afraid we are in deep deep trouble

Why only focus on the last 19 games? Please do tell me why.

If you’re going to go back to the start of the season as one of your points, then please do the same for the games.

League wise he has had 26 games in charge.

He has got 31 points in those 26 games.

Unbeaten in January.
Beat the Jacks 3-0

The whole ‘19 games’ thing is purely so you can discount his start also where he won numerous games. That hasn’t been mentioned.

Do please be honest is 17pts out of 57pts in Our last 19 League Games?

Thats 40pts lost:

3 Wins from 19 League Games

Please be honest if you think this current form is good, then how can you believe in City ever going places under current Regime and Management?

Riza, says he is very happy with his squad and he actually said he got what he wanted and believes he can do well with it.

Well I believe this current squad is worth an 8th place , But Never under this Management.

Remember Riza was here from day one and took over in September and after just “ 6 Games “ it’s Now Number 32 Games:

LEAGUE TABLES DO NOT LIE:

Annis, just on the phone to my brother and we were saying something simular, there is quite a bit of talent in our squad with our midfield now looking very strong with obtions. We should be well clear of the relegation places and i wonder if any of the managers who were available at the time when Riza got the job would have got us more points by now. In my opinion 100% they would have.

People wanted just to stay up after 6 games because that's all they're negativity would allow .... we all know riza was wrong choice as anyone said otherwise May have different opinions on it it's not a requirement to have same opinion on here is it? we've had 6 months of being told he's wrong choice so think the message as been read! Will we get an experienced coach in next season really doubt it..... but as I've said that is certainly relegation if not this season and for tan and club financially this is catastrophic! But was spending on salech a sighn hes worried about relegation and he will change is attitude towards experienced coaches next season wont hold my breath on it..

Allan,

Are we ambitious?

If so we need better than Riza, if not stick with him and if he’s here next season relegation or sadly that can still happen this season.

Riza says he’s been fully backed, well let’s start Winning games, end off.

If we lose to Plymouth next week which is very possible as our away record is shocking that would mean we have lost 3 of the last 4 and drawn one we will be struggling and Plymouth at home they will be like Portsmouth Oxford up for it

Riza until the end of the season absolutely. I believe he can keep us up.

A change in manager at this stage when we're still picking up points would be catastrophic.

Does he deserve an extension if he does keep us up? No. Start again.

The performance for me again was not good enough, I actually believed at 1-0 down that Riza had to go, we've seen enough!!
We got the draw, but as others have said it's not good enough!

Go and get Bilic asap , at least he's experienced and would be acgood shout next year for promotion, riza will never get us up the table

Back in the land of reality; this simply isn't going to happen, is it?

I bet if you did a 'Riza or Billic' poll, Billic would win by a landslide.... not going to happen though is it?

Everybody has said, yes we need better. BUT again it's not going to happen unless you or someone else buys the club & make it happen, Tan owns the club & he seems to have made the decision to stick. It has zero to do with ambition at this time in the season now & all about survival.

We as supporters have to support the team & manager and criticizing them about the match is okay but the constant griping about "go get Bilic or go get an experienced manager" has become so repetitive it's depressing coming on here to discuss CCFC now and the games gone or coming up.

Again, everybody would love a more experienced manager, but it's just not going to happen this season because the person in charge won't give a contract long enough to get someone.

Riza is what we have so let's just see where the season takes us. Relegation then he is gone for sure....if we stay up comfortable I think he may deserve next season and a full transfer window...

I like Riza nice guy hoping he comes good

Doesn't pay to be honest on here as give their opinion to the question and its wrong answer for the narrative its taken as support for whoever is under attack..... we are under performing and should have lot more points but we haven't.... same as no one wanted riza but got him and we are stuck with him no matter what! And wouldn't say people praise him in fact it's mostly opposite they criticise him for his tactics but they do support him not quite same thing?

Agree. Let's not focus on the negatives but support the manager and team until the end of the season. Turning on him is just adding more pressure to the players etc when it's not needed
