AAMB V CCMB CHARITY FOOTBALL MATCH 2013

Mon Jan 28, 2013 8:03 pm

Right we have the interest to make a go at it :ayatollah: any body is welcome to come :ayatollah:

we'll be raising money for the noah's ark appeal childrens hospital :ayatollah:

we'll do 10 training sessions togethor every wednesday at 6pm on the playing field next to the CCS if that's ok for every one who wants to come ? first training session will be on the 27th of feb (again if this ok for every one who wants to come)

this will give every body enough time to get ready to start training (getting trainers/boots/kit what ever they need)
will also give me time to get in contact with the charity and sort out the fundraising side, ill contact them and get more info :ayatollah: will also give me time to sort a game out with another message board so in a month all dates and times would be properly sorted :ayatollah:

fundraising - if we all give 2 quid per training session - will work out 20 quid off every one over the 10 weeks we train then we should raise a nice sum for the charity, and also if we could get people to sponsor us we could make even more :ayatollah:

positions we'll sort out positions etc when we start training

where to train and times playing park next to the CCS is this ok for every one every wednesday at 6pm ? also can we just turn up and train or do we have to book anything ?

helpif any one would like to help, put ideas forward etc then please do :ayatollah:

confirm on here that you deffo want to be part of this :ayatollah: the more the merrier :ayatollah:

I'm trying to organise a game v mike morri's board and if they aren't up for the game i will organise a game against another message board, iv'e posted on mike morris's site and am just waiting to hear from them

we will start training end of march as its when the clocks go forward and we'll be training on jubilee park

the game will be played in june

i know its a few weeks away before we start training but it gives every one time to get ready + time for me to organise things with the charity + other message board
:ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Also those who attend training the most will be in the starting line up i.e those who attend every training session has priority to those who have only trained once or can only play on the day, this is the fairest way of doing it :ayatollah:

Re: FAO CHARITY GAME

Mon Jan 28, 2013 8:11 pm

Ill play :D .
Why not ask the club to send players to attend ? They do a lot of work for the hospital and having players there would draw a bigger crowd and make more money even if there just there to sign autographs and chat with fans ( maybe manage each team if your cheeky enough to ask plus it will be a bit of fun lol ). They do things like that quite often sending 2 players to visit things . :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Training at 6 is a bit early though due to work commitments and then getting there through traffic ?

i wouldnt know how to get in contact with the club and ask them to do that so any one who knows how could they do this as it would be really good :ayatollah: i dont mind what time we train what ever suits every one best :ayatollah:

6 is an okay start time, there's no floodlights on where he's aiming to train I think

Aye don't think there's any floodlights on Jubilee Park, you could try and start it early/late March when the clocks go back? I know it's being picky but we don't wanna be paying money to train at places and that aha, we could maybe donate some of the money going to 'The Malky flag' or is 100% going to the charity?

clocks go forward 30th of march so that would give every one 2 months to get ready so i suppose thats good for every one :ayatollah: depends what every one wants to do i dont mind :ayatollah:

You could always ask Jo Borley who runs the House of Sport next to stadium and is inside with full 3g pitch and lights.
I already play on a wednesday i'm afraid so your Roy Keane/Paul Ramsey is out :laughing6:

it doesnt have to be a wednesday  i was just posting what i thought would be easier for every one, would we have to pay for that as we'd really want all money raised to go to the charity

Maybe one of the Inner Circle could have a word and explain the charity and give us an hour for free one day a week and then host the game there.Good Publicity all round and there is facilities for watching as well.
