I USED to think it was the city shirt with the vertical yellow and white stripe until my mother showed me a picture of me in a Leeds kit ahhhhhhhhhh.

It wasn't a choice thing as I was only 3 or 4. My father has no interest in sport so thought he should begin as he now had a son and who were the dominant force in the early 70's yep Leeds.

I destroyed the pic and my father and I have been city St's for over 30 years so I choose to wipe it from my mind

plain blue with long sleeves and no10 in sow on numbers - toshack was my hero - i used to get some shit as i was the only city fan in our junior school in wolverhampton , but it was worth it

My father was never into football but I had a few hand me downs from my cousins [man utd, liverpool] when I was younger but the first top I bought was our blue home top of the 93/94 season also had the light and dark blue jacket in the same season

The Wales kit from about 1977 with the stripes down each side and the Admiral logo on the collars. I loved that shirt and wore it to school and everything. Trouble with being little is you grow up and grow out of things, otherwise I would still be wearing it now

It was probably a Barcelona, Everton, Wolves or Holland.

I was bought Englands by My Grandfather from Bury, he a Bury Season ticket holder.
But since 1972 I have bought Every Season, Cardiff City's(sometimes though they never changed them year in year out), but never warn one to a match
