ONCE THE RIDDLER HAS GONE.
THE MALAYSIANS SHARED OWNERSHIP WITH "SAM HAMMAM"
Just a thought, but I think it could happen in the near future, just My Opinion.
Sam might Not be the Biggest Share Holder, BUT HE IS DEF HAS THE BIGGEST STAKE IN OUR CLUB and THE MALAYSIANS KNOW THIS and IF WERE PROMOTED Sam is owed an Extra £5 Million.

If it means the loan notes are turned into equity then I would be all for it as at a stroke this club would be relieved of £15m worth of debt.

I always thought that Sam would return one day and I always believed that would be once the stadium is completed, but in the past 18 months I have doubted my own theory but recently I have had the same thoughts again. I would most definately welcome him back.
Thu Apr 29, 2010 6:19 pm
I had that thought funny enough.
If TG and Sam get on who knows
Thu Apr 29, 2010 6:19 pm
i think we need fresh new owners with new ideas not go back in time, it wont be good for us at all

Not sure if he'd be up for sharing power, he always struck me as someone who wanted complete control. Would the Malaysians want to share power with him, knowing how close we came to going under before?

Andy, sam has changed alot in these last few years, mellowed out and more easy to talk too and listens more

he would have to, to work with TG i would think

I dont think the malaysians will want to share power, if they had full control of the club in a couple of years time, but I do think that they will allow Sam to attend our games again and get him involved in the club in some capacity one day.

That's good, Annis, but I'm not too sure if I would want him at the club. I do agree that he deserves something as he took us from oblivion to where we are now (maybe a seat on the board?), but I think we've moved on as a club now. I'm a firm believer in the 'never go back' ideology and it's time to move on with the Malaysians calling the shots

Sam took us to the brink just like Riddler did but Sam at least had his heart in the right place and his motives were for CCFC and not himself , plus he put millions into CCFC while all Ridsdale has done is take money out ! I was 1 of the many who were glad when Sam went but I never knew the full story about how he was shafted and how hard he fought NOT to have the rugby sharing the CCS , plus I believe Sam would listen and act on what the fans want to do regarding the atmosphere at the CCS and Im sure that TG will follow suit . The day that TG did his walkabout and I spoke to him , the way he spoke back he sounded just like Sam ...................... he said " keep the faith " .
Roll on Tuesday and please lets still have a football club
Thu Apr 29, 2010 6:29 pm
they could share ownership with the queen for all i care, aslong as the riddler is a million miles from the club, the fans will regain trust, and we can once again unite as one
Thu Apr 29, 2010 6:32 pm
I dont think Sam coming back will do us any good we need to move on
Thu Apr 29, 2010 7:17 pm
yed , yes and yes.
he started it all, desreves some credit .
his passion was awesome.
he would have had a field day beating our little brothers down west

I'd rather we moved on completely. Sam would come with a huge amount of baggage, but if it meant saving the club then 'Welcome back'.
Thu Apr 29, 2010 7:26 pm
Sam took us on when nobody would touch us when we were dying a slow painful death he made massive mistakes and he admitted them, but for the first time in forty years he gave us back some pride in our club, people who slag him off either have short memories and have forgotten those desperate times or never watched the city in those days.I'll always be greatful to him and i'd love him to be involved again one day but i just can't see him working with the Malaysians or anyone else come to that.
Thu Apr 29, 2010 7:30 pm
Aye Aye no smoke without fire, what's going on ere then Annis?
Spill the beans
Thu Apr 29, 2010 7:34 pm
sam = passion 40%
TG = buisness 49% with drag on's or buy outs 59%
the supporters trust/fan based commitee 1%
together = good managment structure, stability and harmony
Thu Apr 29, 2010 7:42 pm
He's had his turn & it's time for someone else to move this club forward.
Yes, he re-ignited much of the passion in our club and did some great things (the academy being the main one for me) but he also made many, many mistakes.
He took us to the brink of oblivion as far as I'm concerned and I would not welcome him back at all, sorry. In fact if he did return I'd consider weaning myself off my 40+ year addiction with Cardiff City. Same as if the Riddler were to come back in some shape or form tbh.
Thu Apr 29, 2010 7:44 pm
come home sam we love you.
Thu Apr 29, 2010 8:06 pm
cant believe some of the statements on here, i will not watch the club of 40yrs if sam came back/
ffs we support our club whoever is in charge.
i have i will and will continue to do so as i have done for 40yrs.
whoever is in chage.
Thu Apr 29, 2010 8:36 pm
Please God noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Thu Apr 29, 2010 8:41 pm
I always liked Sams energy and his presence inspired the players. But to have any financial clout or running of the club that's a def no no
Thu Apr 29, 2010 8:43 pm
Could Sam be part of sometime that saves us for the second time? Just makes your head hurt just thinking about it.
If it did happen we had better hold on tight as the ride starts again!
Thu Apr 29, 2010 8:46 pm
I dont get it really?
I can see the benefit of giving Sam SOMETHING in return for settling with the club to the
Clubs benefit. But the Malaysians wont let him anywhere near running the club cos he just
cant cut the mustard
Thu Apr 29, 2010 8:56 pm
i would certainly welcome him back.
he gave us hope and put us on the map.
the way he was shafted was disgusting. i hope he is given the recognition he deserves by tg and maybe the opportunity to watch the club in the stadium he created.
imagine riddlers face if sam is on the new board, hold that you fat yorkshire c**t, just don't let him loose on the finances.
sam do the ayatollah, can you remember when that was first heard, it sent shivers down my spine.
Thu Apr 29, 2010 10:38 pm
I think the Malaysian's are in this for the long haul and will want full control. The club will be slowly and steadily promoted in Malaysia, with the emphasis being Cardiff City has Malasian owners. The next step will then be for us to have one or two Malasian players in the squad. If we then hit the Premiership the cash register will start ringing.
Fri Apr 30, 2010 4:12 am
Malaysians to have overall major control, Sam with a small shareholding and made chairman. A figure head with passion and a slightly anarchic streak to get us in the media but with no control on funds.
