The funding has been approved and the agreememnts reached, now it is down to the shareholders to approve it and vote to sell the new shares to TG and Vincent Tan.
Peter Ridsdale will leave the club on May 31st and you will find he will be taking Alan Flitcroft, Keith Harris, Gareth Davies and Spencer with him.
The club released a statement early hours this morning :

Some points about the article.
1. the news that Vincent Tan is definately involved is a highlight. He is a guy with REAL money who, if we did go up has the collateral to really push us on.
2. interesting that PMG are capitalising their loans and Guy is staying involved and in fact joining the board
3. Isaacs is joining the board - I wonder if his loan has been capitalised.
4. With other creditors doing deals then it seems that they really have been thorough with the restructure.
5. Although existing shareholders will see their shares watered down they at least keep their shares.
6. The bad news, the money ALREADY invested by TG will be converted into shares, so taking this at around £1m, plus the money needed to pay the tax bill - £1.9m (maybe up to £3m), and recent wage bill (net is about £600k), then its not going to mean a huge input of funds, most of which will most likely go on may's wage bill and paying creditors off.
Its a massive boost and a great day for the club !

Tim, You changed your mind regarding standing for the Trust ?
Sat May 01, 2010 7:15 am
Tim, we said in Feburary that Guy would be rejoining the board and also told that Isaacs was wanting in again and we have been consistent that Tan is involved.
But you are correct it is good to see these things come through.

Like Mystic Meg Carl
Seeing it all come together after months of drip drip of rumours and lots of haggling etc.. is a real relief for me.
Not that I doubted you, but it could have fallen apart at any time and left us with nothing.

Morning Annis.
And what a fantastic morning !
At the moment I won't be standing for the Trust board. Maybe in the future. Plenty of good candidates this time anyway.

Just like to say a huge THANK-YOU to Carl & this MB you have been spot on with this outcome for a couple of months - great to see it go through so smoothly and as you predicted!
A win in the Play-off final is all that 's missing now!

To the winner of the play off final - That game will be worth £1million pound per minute played! £90m in extra revenue for entering the premier league! Its almost doubled in the last 6 years, and i sure as hell hope we can get to the final and beyond - The club would be in a FANTASTIC position should the outcome we all desire to happen. Investment, Premier League revenue, Restructure, and the likes of TG and VT on board! Im extremely excited - but keeping my feet firmly on the ground. Its a rocky road yet - but this IS the best chance we've ever had to awaken the sleeping Giant that is Cardiff City Football Club.

Will the monies owed to HMRC be paid by Tuesday?
Its just from comments on the official site - it appears no monies will be transferred until the share sale is ratified at the egm at the end of May.
Surely it would be playing a risky game if we go to court, where we are supposed to pay the HMRC and say this is not the case and they wont be paid until the investment is confirmed at the end of May?
