Carl Curtis: Cardiff City dig at Malky Mackay was utterly unnecessary and disrespectful
http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/foot ... ig-6712153

Bluebirds fan Carl Curtis hits out at the latest unsavoury statement from the club's heierarchy

What purpose did Thursday’s statement by Simon Lim serve? Other than being critical of Malky Mackay and Iain Moody’s transfer policy. Surely this type of statement belongs at the AGM and not when we are entering the final twelve games of our maiden Premier League season whilst battling against relegation.

Our hierarchy are a joke. Lim is tans puppet and I wouldn't trust him to run a bath let alone a football club. As for tan then I have no respect for him. He has destroyed our club and divided our fan base .

All to do with Malky's compensation claim and justifying his sacking I suspect.

Sadly bit by bit the mud they throw will stick.

Why keep on about the so called new plastics.
It's a spent record now. I and many many more followed them in the 50.60 70 80 90 200 up to the present time. Many stopped in the 80 and 90s because of the new plastics at the time.

I would ask of the question. Surely Hamman publicly endorsing what Tan and Lim said is as well 'utterly disgraceful'
and surely worth of a mention in the article??? and if not why not? is this a fair question?

The purpose of Lim's statement is to try and put the blame for the transfer fiascos totally on Malky and Moody, now that the financial side of things has been made public. However, we can all see this for a smokescreen to hide Lim's involvement, which explains the unfortunate timing of the statement. Therefore, in Lim's thinking it is more important to distance himself from the transfer fiascos than to release statements that may be detrimental to the club whilst battling relegation.

This should be a great season. Instead we are embroiled in stupid politics.

I just want to support the team.

Both sides should put a sock in it and get on with creating a home advantage based on chanting and willing the team on.

I disagree Magners, what Carl has written is a very good article. In essence he writes " don't do your dirty washing in public "

That is correct. You are supposed to be a professional premiership football club, your acting once again like the local village idiots, you don't see this tittle tattle nonsense coming out of any other Premiership Football Club.

The sooner the Club / Franchise is relegated the better, that's not personal towards you or any other supporter, but the operation is the full embarrassment of the Premier league acting worse than a committee of a club playing in the pub Sunday league.

SD - to be fair to the person being hung out to dry in the public domain, you probably know better than I and I know you weren't a fan of his football, whilst others were promoting from the board on twitter that he was Cardiff City's greatest ever manager, but in fairness he did get the club to the premiership and sustaining a just above relegation position on in premiership standards a small budget?

Steve

As far as I am concerned this is another shot in the foot from tan and lim. In essence they are quite right to point the finger at Malky and moody over the poor transfer dealings but that is in the boardroom and at the AGM.
If they felt this way Malky and moody should have been sacked at the same time.
On the footballing front we had a great start in the championship winning our first 10 home games but as the finishing line came closer the football became increasingly dour and unattractive to watch but Malky has my utmost respect for what he achieved.
I stand by my comment that if we were not rebranded the usual suspects would be giving grief to Malky over wasting the clubs money.
I was not knocking carls views but I would say as others have pointed out his good friend Sam has endorsed the Malaysians behaviour but escapes any comment bearing in mind he is the clubs life president.
If steve borley came out and endorsed lims behaviour he would rightly get slaughtered but good friend Sam gets a free pass.
