Also some complaints on Mike's board. Similar issues. Seems the organisation just isnt there for an event like this.

Just got back I thought it was a cracking night.

Just back now, where do I start?!

- Stewards on a fooking power trip, unhelpful, blocked entrances onto the pitch for no apparent reason causing huge queues
- Bogs - poor women had to queue for well over 30mins to get anywhere near a toilet
- Beer - £3.50 a pint, if you could actually get to the bar!! I was in the queue for the bar by the tunnel for an hour!!! And they shut at 10pm.
- Acoustics - I thought they were poor, especially for the support acts. Could hardly make out what they were singing.

Also the usual car park chaos afterwards! It was £10 a car btw to park at the ground!!

Also the reason why they closed early could be with the fact that the police had asked because they knew some people had been out all day and were heading to the city center afterwards?
Portaloos could have been put on?

Acoustics is to do with the current shape of the inside of the stadium. Because of the glass & Premier seats on the Grandstand, it doesn't give an even area around the stadium which means the sound bounces off each stand at different times. Only way to get around this is by making the glass on the grandstand a zig-zag shape, just like Wembley. This will also help keep the noise from football crouds inside the ground.

The Car Park is not a problem really, they have to clear the carpark of "Fans" before they let any car out because of health and safety. Common sence really.

Let's just hope they learn from tonight and seek to overcome the problems in time for the next concert! With regards to this, I hope the new CEO is selling the ground to promoters, it really hasn't been utilised very well in the last 12 months.

Oh Lawnmower, what's with your anti valley thing then? So because there was sick in the toilets it had to be because of a valley girl then? What girls from EVERYWHERE ELSE don't throw up do they? Where's your evidence to show it was from a valley girl or are you just generalising? Maybe it was a Muslim or an illegal immigrant that threw up in the bogs and not a valley girl as you assume. I saw sick in Ely once, perhaps that was a valley girl just passing through maybe?

It was a big leaning curve for the staff at city today but we will bounce back and im sure things will impove for the next concert.

The cue for the bar was massive. Took one look at it and thought no way am i waiting in that it was easier and quicker to just walk to the front

It was the same at the cricket friday night - all these people wanting a drink

To be fair about last night, the main queue for the bar was the ones on the pitch. No idea why most people decided to use them. We queued at the bar under the Ninian Stand and only had to wait 15-20 mins max, which is what you expect even in just a nightclub so that wasn't too bad in my eyes.

The reason the one entrance onto the pitch was blocked was to keep it free in case of emergencies. It was only the one entrance that was blocked off.

The women were just being stupid. My girlfriend went in and experience of Cardiff games taught her to check all the cubicles and only 50% of them were being used! They'd queue and only go in the cubicles on the one side. My missus was in and out every time she went to the toilet.

The beer prices weren't bad for a gig. £3.50 is standard and I thought the food and soft drinks were reasonably priced too for such a concert.

The sound system could have been better when the band's were talking but the music sounded brilliant.

We had a great time last night and I reckon considering it was the first concert staged there it was a pretty decent venue.
