My favourite music is Ska, Rock Steady, Reggae, and Soul music (late 50s to early 70s).
It's what I grew up with and all I really listen to.
The ex missus couldn't understand how I could listen to he same tunes over and over again,
but she was into rave music.

Hey roddy next time you get your band together how about knocking out a cover version 'hang the DJ' panic by the smiths like another oi band the business ! not universally popular i know but grew up with the smitbs 1982-87

Good band from Merthyr doing the rounds called ''CHAINGANG''
They do a lot of SKA, PUNK,JAM etc seen them a few times now and always get the crowd going,Think the are in Abertillery Tonight......they play Mountain ash quite a bit and the Angel in Maesycymmer.
