BUT A POOR LEEDS UNITED BEAT CARDIFF CITY TO END OUR 13 MATCH UNBEATEN HOME RECORD

Fabio sent off, Managers head to head , hit the post, in some parts of the game ill tempered and a blatant hand ball, with City having over 20 shots.

Cardiff fans applauded their team off at the end.

We honestly never deserved to lose the game

Craig Noone was outstanding when he came on as sub, but unfortunately it was not enough,

Cardiff City went in to this game with only one defeat in their last nine games and undefeated at home for 13 games, whilst Leeds United have been on a bumpy ride,staying in the bottom half of the League all season.

The opening 15mins was end to end with both teams looking for an early goal.

A great free kick by Whittingham in the 26th min saved by the Leeds goalie.

It all went wrong in the 37th when Leeds tore Cardiff's sleeping defence wide open and scored thanks to a Fabio own goal(Which I am unsure of)? ? to make it 0-1

Lex Immers had a shot saved in the 52nd min.

A blatant Leeds handball was turned down in the 56th min and for me City should of had a penalty.

61st min Craig Noone came on for Peter Whittingham

Then it got even worse for Fabio who got sent off in the 63rd min for what looked like just a basic foul well over exegerated by the Leeds player


Immers hit the post in the 68th min.

Ralls had a shot saved in the 74th min.


75th min Sammy Ameobi came for Lawrence.

City continued to attack the Leeds United goal.

In the 94th min Leeds made it 0-2 against the run of play.

I'm not too downbeat tonight. I would be if we'd just lost with no fight.

But every single City player have their all tonight, and we were very unlucky not to get something. The players had one of the best reactions they've had all season at home at full time.

Very lucky with the other results tonight too, pretty much as you were with only Ipswich and Wednesday gaining a point off us.

A good effort all round. Good atmosphere too. If we carry on playing like we did tonight we won't be far from the playoffs at the end of the season. Reminds me of the team we had in Malkys first season, although playing better football.

Silly of Fabio to go flying in late while already on a caution . It was a sending off .
City actually played better with 10 men . Leeds centre half excellent . Noone put some excellent crosses in from the right . Really unlucky with his free kick .
Man of match no shadow of doubt was the Leeds keeper who really was outstanding .
That really makes the point how well the City played .

It wasn't totally a bad night as only one of the top ten winning . Thanks also to the ex Swansea player Stephen Dobbie scoring in the 97th minute against Ipswich .

I'm sorry but Leeds are absolute FILTH. That tw*t Bellusci is a complete embarassment he was rolling round with nobody anywhere near him. When the ref told him to get up he started walking or running nothing wrong with him. Also if it wasn't for him and a few other Leeds players Fabio would not have been sent off they practically forced the ref to send him off. Even with 10 men we outplayed the SCUM. Their goalie was time wasting from the 47th minute but the ref did nothing. Slade should have knocked out tht fat c**t Evans on the touchline squabble.
