Anyone from The Rhondda Fach & Fawr rememeber the infamous Penrhys dance around 1979-81....?.... battles were fought on a regular basis between rival valley towns and sometimes spilled onto the terraces of Ninian Park.....

Ventured up there a few times Lordninian, always saw it as a mountain top meeting point for numerous nutters to swap

punches. We never went up there alone from God`s country we ensured we were always mob handed, saying that we still

came off worse on several occasions.

If my memory serves me well, the majority of the ladies in attendance were often harder than the lads.

dai allan , class act he could balance 12 old pennys on his knob when it was still soft, only trouble with the man from my point of view was he was always exstreamly drunk.
