Australia & Spain, I've got a daughter who lives in Sydney and a daughter who lives in Madrid. My eldest son is emigrating to Oz shortly, and the wife and I are thinking of retiring out there as we will have three grand children there then, but we have also got three in Spain:)

Canada is stunning, I was out there for 5 months, playing football and rugby for The Army and drinking lots of Labatts Blue and Canadian Molsen Pils in the Mid Eighties!
My "former" best mate (A Scots Guardsman) even slapped me in the face with a dead rattlesnake, although I didn't know it was dead at the time and it stunk like dead fish!
I thought at the time, that there was only 2 things in this word that smell of fish and that one of them was fish!
The Rockies is absolutely beautiful, Banff, Lake Louise and the Athabasca Icefields in particular!
I did spend 10 years in Germany though (West Germany as it was at the time) and I wouldn't be too unhappy living there either!
The thing is about Germany, is that they know how to enjoy themselves and unlike all the propoganda you hear, they are really a friendly bunch, apart from the large gang that came after us in Moenchengladbach in the early eighties, merely for singing 2 World Wars and One World Cup!

Thats San Antonio, Santa Eulalia is more upmarket and many celebs spend their time there.

The point is I've been there and it's a lovely place!
When I was there, the Trannys came out mainly in Ibiza Town, but they live all over the island and Santa Eulalia is no exception, even if they are a bit more upmarket there!
If you've taken offence to anything I've mentioned regarding Trannys, then you shouldn't be so sensitive, as I was only teasing!

Like others in the forces in this thread I have lived in Germany, Canada, New York,Hong Kong, Belize, and also visited many other countries. I concur with a couple on here about Germany (they won the war in the long run) and Canada. Berlin and Ottawa are awesome cities and The Rockies has to be one of the best places on earth for natural beauty.
