Us raising the money surely isnt the real issue here?

Man City would still be paying 45k a week for a player they want shot of.
So it makes sense that they'd sooner sell him off and get around £1m-£2m
than keep him on the books and spend almost as much for no return whatsoever!

No not slagging anything or anyone i am just someone with some sense amid all these so called exculsives , all official reports yesterday and today say its not true yet you still hang on to what is after all a rumour .

im not hanging on to anything just like carl i do not post any old dribble, i wait for facts.

i have full confidence in carl and the contacts he has, and believe what has been said, irrispective of the posts by others and so called latest news

Your right i dont know you and i dont know Carl probably never will, but where have i said anything against him or yourself for that matter ? When i first read the report supposedly from a walesonline link it just had something about it that was wrong , Like Bellamy on loan and being made Club Captain , come on when was the last time a 6month loan player was made Club Captain . It would be great to see the man at Cardiff but we all know its a dream . Some sad person or persons made everyone look fools by posting the report in the first place , but with no confirmation coming from Cardiff City Football Club of what would have been an exclusive capture at any time during the day you must have smelt a rat .

I have no info just a theory.

We all know that once Man City name their 25 man squad on 1 September there is no going back. Bellamy won't be in that 25 and as the transfer window shuts for Premiership clubs on that same day so both Fulham's and Sunderland's ambitions go to.

However, as a Championship club we are entitled to sign loan players during the emergency window which opens a week later. By then we would be the only option for Man City to offload an unhappy and disruptive player which will surly happen even if our contribution is only £15k p/w which is still better than nothing.

Also a 'six month loan' would make more sense because it would run from September to February and by then we would have a better understanding on whether we could commit to making the signing permanent the following season due to promotion.

Carl has made it very clear where his information comes from. Its up to others if they believe there is substance in his posts. I take seriously about 1% of posts on the messageboards and then I sit back and wait for time to prove it wrong or right. Using this attitude to Carls post I have found I would say 90% of his information correct. Hence why he is in my 1%.


Where I sit at CCS most are decent people. However there are a couple of nutheads and I sometimes wonder that these nutheads would be like on a messageboard. Perhaps we are witnessing them with these belittling comments that are boring the tits of guys like you and I.

I hope to god this deal happens, I have been left gutted today rumors of press conferences being called and him being unveiled and nothing materialised. Sat infront of the tele refreshing websites all day and nothing, I can't get my hopes up again this time, I trust Carl but I'm still unsure.. For goodness sake what an over reaction i have never said ANYTHING against Carl or anyone else for that matter , i just dont believe any rumours or speculation until its official , i have followed the club for 50+ years and had quite a few hopes crashed and dashed and so by now i have the damn right to be careful what i believe , whoever at first got the information got it wrong , it raised hopes including my sons and grandsons were over the moon about it , i told them at the time after reading the artiicle it was wrong and dont get their hopes up , i am entitled to my opinion and this time i was right , dont call me a nuthead just because i think an item is wrong .

Tony I agree with you Carl is a great bloke and there is no way he would have put this on here if he felt his information was wrong, The board was already full of rumours from a number of posters claiming that Bellamy was coming. Carl stated that a trusted source had confirmed he was coming, however not long after Carl came back on and admitted that another trusted source had said it was not going to happen, and he didn't know what was happening.
Since then statements have come from the Club and Man City and all have denied any contact.

This board has never been busier and even crashed earlier, and its all because every one wants it to happen. The worrying thing is no one is talking about our new signings or our positive start to the season.

I, like you and premier wish that posters would stop sniping at Carl either directly or indirectly, the man is a genuine,trusted supporter with very good contacts and I hope he will always keep us fed with any information that he BELIEVES to be true.
