I know not all are bad, but I could never support a team who have people who do this. In the video it is a large ammount doing it also, the thing is that people will be brought up in the stands thinking this is right so it will never end. Like City fans round about 15/16/17/18/19 hating Swansea just because the older people do, they have no personal experiance of hate. But on the other hand us Cardiff fans respect the soldiers, I remember Bristol Away this year when we won 6-0, Bristol gave out tickets too some soldiers and half time all the Cardiff fans were shaking their hands and the army even wrote too the club thanking us, but if ever I heard a group of Cardiff fans insult the soldiers that would be it for me, just watch Merthyr.

I was in the military and then I would have had no problem going to war against our enemies at that time. Communist Russia was our big threat but the only war to happen was against the Argentine junta for the recapture of the Falklands. Today though I would not join up as the Government of Blair has left me wondering if our country is no better than the communist Russia government who invaded Afghanistan. Although we have a new government it will take me a long time to restore my faith in their judgement when it comes to international matters.

Even so my mistrust of the government should not and will not be taken out on our armed forces. Without doubt we need our soldiers, sailors and airmen so we can carry living our lives the way we want to. Therefore I have to accept the fact that our armed forces could enter a warzone that I dont agree with. I wont point the finger at them if that happens but will certainly aim my dissatisfaction at the leaders of the day because that is where the buck stops.

The amazing thing is if the British Army hadn't gone into N Ireland in 1968 the Catholic Community (from where Celtic derives most of their support) would have been torn apart by the Protestants.

They were there to PROTECT the Catholics but instead were treated as an occupying force which saw over 700 troops killed in the next 30 years.

I don't support the Army, but The Soldiers do not deserve this, they go into a war thinking they are doing it for queen and country and they put their life on the line because they think they are protecting and serving their country. It is absolutely disgraceful what those Celtic fans where doing
