Saw this tweet just now:
I personally think the food and drink are over priced crap and it’s a disgrace the prices.
I believe a pint of beer in a plastic glass is £7.20p?
Yes Compass charge these prices but have to agree it with the club first:
I personally eat before I get to the Stadium
I have tried the food not just over priced, but absolutely awful.
HONEST OPINIONS PLEASE?

I don't know when the contract with Compass is up, but they need to replace them ASAP. Like you say though, the club agree to those prices.
I normally have a beer below Canton before the game and occasionally one at half time. It's ridiculously priced and low quality.

The beer is shit and expensive and I haven't tried the food.
I usually have a beer and snack in the Libs club and get on it properly in Canton afterwards.

Very bad quality and well over priced. The worst around and I don't bother with it.
Saying that most clubs are the same.

Ned,
The Hierarchy gave them a new contract.

Disappointing, so yet another bad thing about our club that will continue.

All food & drink at any venue is overpriced and usually disgusting crap with a few exceptions. The days of a Clarks pie and a Bovril for a quid are long gone. Cardiff City & Compass are no different & no better or worse than hundreds of other venues.

I don't eat or drink once in the ground but while loads do they'll never buck their ideas up.
Mon Apr 24, 2023 6:30 pm
I don't eat in the Stadium simply because it's very poor and over priced. Eat in the car before going to the ground. Sometimes have a coffee if I get there early.

Yeh and woman behind the bar has said that they’re stopping old mout cider bottles now too , it’s a f*cking shambles

Agree Annis, the food is awful and the beer is just as bad and getting worse despite compass hiking their prices on a regular basis. Another example of us fans being sold out by the club.i personally have a couple of unwatered down ales in a glass in the Cornwall and a proper burger from the wagons on sloper Road beforehand. And I don't have to queue for half an hour and take out a second mortgage also!

I never have a pint in the stadium I can’t drink lager that’s all they serve so they don’t cater for the likes of me if they had John smith’s brains smooth ipa smooth or worthy if they had these beers then I’d have a pint at half time or before the game

I am a cider drinker not watery lager and always take own food pasty butty if it was tidy food i still would' nt because of the price
The water is a big rip off in the summer 2/3 quid for a small bottle of water.

Food and drink is really poor. There’s money to be made if you provide decent stuff as people are more likely to have their last pint in the ground and grab a pie/burger at the time.
I always have a drink and something to eat in Canton. I don’t mind paying over the odds in the ground if the food/drink is good but it’s got worse.
The Grazing Shed burger chain had an outlet in there a few seasons ago and that was good stuff. I didn’t mind paying £7/8 for their burgers.

Agree about the grazing shed

Refuse to pay those prices whoever’s in charge of it. I sometimes have a coffee or bottle of water but if we have food it’s always in canton somewhere. Tbh that’s always been the case for me - never bought food or beer watching cccf. at home and that’s including Ninian park.
I like a beer but would rather watch the grass grow at half time than drink watered down per for £7 a pint.
