UPDATED: Vincent Tan offers Sabri Lamouchi a contract / But

The good news is, if Lamouchi does get the job, Lamouchi has already lined up five players he wants for next season, free agents and does want to bring in some of his own back room team.

Lamouchi has gone away to think about the offer for a couple of days and has also put to Tan what he wants, so decision is expected this week.

Sabri Lamouchi after talks in London with Vincent Tan has been offered a managers job at Cardiff City.

But is currently thinking over the terms of it and wants some reassures from Tan.

Hopefully Lamouchi gets his reassures and the contract is sorted as, personally I don’t think Tan will get anyone better to work anymore under this current Regime and with a Transfer Embargo on our club.

We all know Lamouchi wants to stay so not good if he doesn't accept.

Sabri and Sol have done a great job, definitely need them to stay. Quality managers aren't queuing up to take over

Can't blame Sabri at all for asking for assurances. He wants to stay but needs players.

He knows we need to add players to even stand a chance.

With our current squad (excluding the loans who have left obviously) even Sir Alex wouldn't keep us up.

Let’s hope he gets the assurances that he needs.

The truth is that we don't know what was discussed or the outcome other than it took place (no big secret there) and it appears a contract of some sort was on the table 'subject to'...

Both men will have put their positions forward and it is likely they have gone away to think before a final decision is made from either side

It would appear (apt word) that a contract offer is/was on the table (why wouldn't there be after Sabri Lamouchi guided us to safety?) and Sabri Lamouchi has publicly stated he would like to stay at the club, so it would be reasonable to suggest Sabri Lamouchi is the one with a decision to make here...

Hopefully, we will hear positively in due course, as this club is in a mess right now and needs a manager who can prepare for next season right now. Another new man (dread the thought of Darren Purse, who is currently No.1 at the CCS in the absence of anyone else given Sabri Lamouchi's contract ended last Monday) something I sincerely hope Sabri Lamouchi has started doing well before now...

Sounds more like it , I don’t understand why this wasn’t spoke about in leading up to the meeting , surely dahlmen n crew should have got all the information etc .
I can’t wait till they buggar off

Lamouchi must have his targets and he would have discussed this with Tan.

Tan would have told Lamouchi this is the budget. Lamouchi has gone away to think if he can bring in what he wants with that budget.

Let’s hope he gets the assurances that he needs.

We could see a few continental players in maybe. French, Ivory Coast? Under 21s?

Probably way out of our league but Joselu at espanyol is 33 now and at end of contract at a relegated side.
