CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL ROVERS
Tuesday 11th July, 3pm
Pre-Season Friendly
Behind Closed Doors

This game will consist of two 60 minutes matches, with four periods of 30 minutes.

Erol Bulut will pick a different team for each 60 minutes.

This game is being played in front of no fans but will be live on Cardiff City TV.

Cardiff City continue their pre-season games on Tuesday with a behind closed doors game against Bristol Rovers.

Below are a few details on our opponents.

Bristol Rovers finished 17th in League One last season. That was their first season back in that division after promotion from League Two last year.

They play their home games at the Memorial Stadium, which has a capacity of 11,000.

Their current manager is Joey Barton. It's his second management job, after a three year spell with Fleetwood.

We could well see some new faces in the game against Bristol Rovers, again behind closed doors, on Tuesday. By that point, Ike Ugbo and Dimitrios Goutas will have had a week's worth of training under their belt with their new team and have a chance of playing. Yakou Meite is perhaps less likely

Jamilu Collins is also likely to be back this week, with Bulut last week confirming the left-back, who missed practically all of last season with an ACL rupture, would be up to speed this week. If he doesn't play a part against Rovers, one expects him to play a part in the behind-closed-doors game against Premier League opposition, which we understand to be Fulham, before the trip to Portugal.

Callum O'Dowda could make his first pre-season appearance this week, too.

Does anyone know if I'll need a separate match pass or will I be able to watch with my new international season pass ?

I'm certain the international pass covers pre-season games as well, so you should be able to watch it with that.

Remember Eastville 83, big Frank etc on the Tote End and scrapping on the pitch before ko. Well, scrapping outside before and after also.
I remember our lot at the back throwing bottles on the big away terrace, landing on our lot down the front. We’ve always had our beaut’s..
