Hey Jude pre match

I'd love to hear hey Jude brought back before the games build up the atmosphere something we been missing for years the music before the games are just awful supporters club or someone put this into the club I think it will definitely get the fans more up for it.

Something that should be addressed at the first Fans Parliament full meeting, next weeks is Q and A with Erol Bulut, but certainly after that.

I don’t want Hey Jude (or Men of Harlech) when the team come out.
I suggested on here quite a few years back (before it was taken up by Wales)that the team come onto the pitch to something more rousing like ‘Yma o Hyd’ - A song to get the fans up for the match and let the opposition know they are AWAY at Cardiff Wales.

Now that the Wales team use Yma o Hyd, we could ‘adopt’ another rousing song for the Bluebirds like “i’r gad”

I love Hey Jude and Men of Harlech. Everyone does the clapping bits But it would be even better if more people actually sang along too

oh how i would love this to happen freezing cold on a tues night then hey jude gets blasted you soon warm up it gets the crowd going too !!

I really don’t understand why it is not played If any song got the city crowd going before a match it was this song . You want every advantage you can get however small and if this can get the players effort by and extra 1% and have the fans up again it is this song

Wasn’t there a big push years ago to get it reintroduced and I’m sure Ali got sacked not long after.
It was also mentioned on here that the players didn’t like it which I find hard to believe.

For those really old gits like me " Those were the days" was the song that really got us going back in the late sixties and early seventies- "The Toshack and Clarke era". The wooden planks on the old Grange End would be literally bouncing as we sang the chorus. Probably wouldn't have sung it now cos Mary Hopkin is from Swansea way, but it didn't seem to matter then.

I quite like MOH but if it was to change then Yma O Hyd would be the better option, keeping in with our nationality

Thats the song. Great days. Coincidently a clip of Mary Hopkin signing it was on BBC Wales later last night after i had posted. And bizzarely, though it was no 1 in the UK, according to BBC it only reached no 2 in the USA.Kept off the top spot by- Hey Jude!!
