St Andrew's

Birmingham have played their home games at St Andrew's since 1906.

The stadium has a capacity of 29,409, although this is restricted to 19,000 currently due to works being done on essential repairs.

The stadium has also been used for England games at youth level and for the B team. It has also played host to nine FA Cup semi-finals and semi-final replays.

The record attendance at St Andrew's was when they played Everton in the FA Cup in 1939, the exact figure is disputed but somewhere between 66,000 and 68,000. The highest attendance for a league match was 60,250 when they played Aston Villa in 1935.

Since the stadium became all seater, the highest attendance was for a Premier League game against Arsenal in 2003 with a crowd of 29,588.

The Opposition's Manager

John Eustace was appointed Birmingham manager in July last year.

In his first season, they finished 17th - helping them reach their highest points tally since 2016.

His only previous managerial role came at Kidderminster Harriers between 2016 and 2017 although he had assistant manager positions at QPR and the Republic of Ireland national team.

Opposition Dangerous Players

Both teams are expected to make changes so difficult to say who will be dangerous players.

Juninho Bacuna scored both goals in their 2-0 win at Cheltenham in the last round.

Lukas Jutkiewicz has two goals in the league this season.

Head To Head 

We haven't lost to Birmingham in our last five games against them, winning three of them. We won both league games against them last season.

Our unbeaten record against Blues actually goes further than that, with no defeats in the last nine meetings.

Our last defeat to them came in October 2017 when we lost 1-0 at St Andrews in a Championship game.

OPPOSITION FOCUS | SEASON SO FAR -

The Blues opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw at Swansea City, in which summer recruit Siriki Dembélé got on the scoresheet.

An impressive result against Leeds United followed, as the contest was set for a goalless draw until Lukas Jutkiewicz netted an added-time penalty.

The striker again found the net in a 2-0 win at Bristol City, with Koji Miyoshi also scoring for the Blues.

In their most recent league fixture, John Eustace’s men defeated Plymouth Argyle, with Jay Stansfield netting a late winner.

The Blues made it to the second round of the Carabao Cup with a 2-0 win over Cheltenham Town.

Senior players such as Aaron Ramsey are expected to be given the night off. Yakou Meite could be given another chance to impress after showing glimpses of what he could do against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.

"With Yakou, it was really good, we used him a lot to keep the ball for us in front," Bulut said after the win over Sheffield Wednesday. "This also is the second game he starts, so he's not in 100% physical condition, but he did good today and I think we can build on it."

Ryan Allsop is closing in on a move to Hull City and is unlikely to be involved. Callum Robinson missed the weekend's game with a lingering issue.
